MISSION REPORT ETHIOPIA OCTOBER, 2023

Dear Friends!

I just returned from Shanto, Ethiopia from our gospel campaign last week.

We can take nothing with us and one day we leave it all behind and others will get it.

Dereje our organizer wrote: “I am receiving calls from Shanto and they are telling me that there are so many incredible healing testimonies happening in the villages.”

Why not send it ahead and store up treasures in heaven?

Jesus said: “He who tries to hang on to his life will lose it.

But he who gives up his life for my sake will find it.”

Shanto was our 151. gospel crusade in Ethiopia. In our healing service all who came for healing testified to being healed. When I asked for a show of hands who was healed they all lifted their hands and came onto the stage to testify. We never saw this before.

We have been working in Ethiopia for 15 years and our sound system needs to be improved and renewed. We have now decided to buy a good used loudspeaker system that fits our needs. That way we can save a lot of money.

On top of the sound system we have to pay 68% import tax. The sound system we want to buy costs around 100.000.-$. We have received 10.000.-$ towards the project so far and still need 90.000.-$.

When Jesus needed a donkey, he sent his disciples and told them where to find it. “Loose it and bring it” he told them. If anyone asks what you are doing tell them: “The master has need of it.”

Some years ago, we needed a sound system for Nigeria.

I sold an apartment for 230.000.- $ which I auctioned for 30.000.-$. The 200.000.-$ paid for our equipment in Nigeria. Today we are winning thousands of souls for Christ with this equipment. The apartment won nobody to Christ.

Many people have invested money in shares, bitcoin, real estate, cars etc. Perhaps God is telling you to untie something and invest it in soulwinning. There is no better investment.

The first shall be last and the last shall be first. Invest in eternity and when you die you will get rich dividends in heaven and also get rewards already down here.

This month we are having a gospel crusade in Sri Lanka, in November we are in Nigeria and in December we have two more gospel campaigns in Ethiopia. That brings us to a total of sixteen crusades in 2023.

A very big thank you to all who have supported us. It is a miracle that we can go out again and again, all because of faithful partners who are helping us. Not everyone is called to go. Some are called to make money and support the goers. If everyone obeys his calling the job will get done.

We are living in uncertain times. Our money could become worthless overnight. We see dark clouds on the horizon and millions of people still need to be reached with the gospel. Time is running out and this is the final harvest. When the body of Christ is complete Jesus will return and we will go up in the rapture. The earth will experience judgment, tribulation and afterwards Jesus will set up his 1000-year reign on earth. Things are accelerating and this generation will not pass away until all these things shall have taken place.

HEALING TESTIMONIES ETHIOPIA

She had excruciating pain in her armpit.

Clothes touching her was painful.

Jesus took all her pain away.

For one year she was in bed because one disk was dislocated.

She was in much pain and was healed.

Both ears were deaf for 3 years. Now she hears again.

He couldn’t read anything the last 2 years.

Jesus healed his eyes.

Her right ear was deaf! The right eye was blind! Her right arm hung down and was in pain. All healed!

COMMANDING POWER! “God’s word in your mouth is as powerful as God’s word in His mouth!”

The most powerful weapon God gave us is our mouth.

God took THE WORD in his mouth and created the world and the universe. On the 7th day God rested, but he gave men the ability to create with their mouths. If any man takes THE WORD in his mouth and believes it in his heart a miracle happens. A new creation has come into being. This miracle of the new birth is greater than the miracle of creation. It happens by believing and speaking. If any man takes THE WORD, concerning healing, in his mouth and believes it in his heart, healing happens. Jesus healed people with his mouth. Jesus cast out devils with his mouth. Jesus killed a tree with his mouth. Jesus told us that we can do the same things He did. If anyone would speak to this mountain (problem) and would not doubt in his heart but would believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says. This is exactly what God did.

He spoke the world into existence. Jesus said that we can do the same things, because he gave us his faith, the faith that created the universe. If we preach the gospel we take THE WORD into our mouth and proclaim it. Our mouth becomes God’s mouth. God is now working through our mouth and He does what He did in the beginning. He creates! We proclaim the eternal WORD with our mouth and new creations come into being. Gods WORD spoken by our mouth goes to work and creates. People are healed by the spoken WORD. He sent HIS WORD and healed them. It happens every time THE WORD is released by our mouth. Our mouth is the gun, THE WORD is the bullet and the tongue is the trigger. THE WORD is explosive power, if it is mixed with faith in the heart and spoken with the mouth.

Head faith is powerless and does not work.

THE WORD only works in the heart. Seed is powerless in the pocket but its power is released in the soil.

If THE WORD is in my heart and I release it with my tongue it becomes the sword of the spirit. If it comes only from my mind it is dull and powerless.

THE WORD becomes a part of me if I meditate upon it. Jeremiah said: “I have found your word and ate it like bread.” “Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God”, Jesus said.

I eat THE WORD by putting into my mouth, by speaking it to myself and meditating upon it, until THE WORD becomes a part of me.

“See, I make you a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth (mouths); you shall reduce hills to chaff and thresh mountains into dust.” Isaiah 41:15. The word “teeth” according to the Passion Translation means: “owner of two mouths”. Our mouth becomes God’s mouth if we speak what God says. Two mouths become one. Our mouth becomes a double-edged sword. God’s mouth and our mouth. “For He has said…So we may boldly say” Hebrews 13:5.6.

God told Jeremiah 1,9.10: “See, I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” How was Jeremiah to do that? With his mouth!

He was to speak to nations and kingdoms! Jesus gave us power to loose on earth, what is loosed in heaven and to bind on earth what is bound in heaven. We do it with our mouth. Jesus gave us power to move, to thresh mountains. Mountains in the bible often represent kingdoms. Your mouth is Gods threshing instrument to bring in the harvest and your mouth is also the sowing machine to sow God’s WORD into your heart.
