M & L Cattle Company

Welcome On behalf of M&L Cattle Company, welcome to the sale. It is with some regret that we are dispersing our Simmental and purebred Charolais cattle; trust that it is not due to quality, but ease of management. The cattle pictured have been on grass without supplemental feed, so you are getting a good look at what they can do under commercial conditions. We were moving the bulk of the herd out of winter calving (selling more two year old bulls) and the sale was a late descision, so you will find more March and April calving dates. Many of the Simmentals were synchronized and artificially inseminated with proven sires in an effort to add some variety, but you will be equally pleased with the natural services. If showing cattle is a part of your program, there are several top prospects in the offering. There are also some good commercial Simmental and crossbred females on offer, if that is more in line with your program. Inquiries regarding the cattle are always welcome. In closing, we look forward to seeing you sale day. Come early to inspect the cattle and enjoy lunch. If you can’t make it, please don’t hesitate to contact us or the sale management team. Sincerely Roger and Helen

From the Desk at T Bar On behalf of everyone at T Bar C and the entire sales team involved at M & L, we welcome you to the dispersal of the Simmental program and purebred Charolais division. Roger and his family have been involved in the purebred cattle business for decades and it’s a pleasure to help conduct this sale with such fine people. The Simmental dispersal will be an opportunity to buy proven bloodlines that have certainly worked well for Roger. Many blazed faced options make this very attractive, along with services and outcross pedigrees to many programs. There’s always been a saying when a program can maintain a successful bull sale annually, it’s always backed up by a solid core of females. Roger’s bull sales have been very successful and now the chance is yours to let these matrons produce in your herd. Roger and his family are going to focus strictly on the full French Charolais business; hence why we are able to disperse all the purebred influenced white cows. Many unique options in this section of the sale and again, mothers to past herdbulls who have gone through the successful M & L bull sales. I strongly encourage you to go with Roger on a tour of his cattle; he raises them in very ideal, low maintenance conditions. These cows have worked for Roger and will for you as well, so don’t be afraid to ask any questions as we are quite familiar with the cattle on offer. Please make every effort to join us on the holiday Monday in October for a very relaxed, fun filled event right at the farm. Any questions please call any of our cells; see you in Indian River!
