Welcome to the 28th Annual Everblack Bull and Female Sale, March 30th, at the ranch, south of Vermilion, Alberta. Only a few can grasp the idea of having 28 consecutive bull sales. Consider the change in types and opinions over thirty years, but to accomplish that feat you must raise the right kind and stand behind your guns! The Gibson Family has done just so and the success of their operation and breeding program increases every year. Nothing comes by chance, but to have so many repeat customers return year after year to select an Everblack sire speaks of the high degree of quality in the bulls and the customer service that they provide their customers. What a powerful group of two-year-old bulls; thick, rugged with hair, testicle and a high degree of performance. As you go through the pens, you will mark a lot of bulls. The yearling bulls come out of early calving cows and do not give up anything to the twos. They come with high maternal values in addition to fertility and longevity. Over the years, Ernie has added calving ease as a main selection necessity without sacrificing performance. His heifer bulls are designed for that purpose by mating calving ease bulls to low birth weight mothers. The heifers offered are paternal sisters to the bulls selling‌an exciting group.
