elcome to the Canadian National Charolais Sale, hosted by Canadian Western Agribition, Thursday, November 25, 2021, at 3: 30 P.M., Regina, Saskatchewan as Agribition celebrates its 50th anniversary. The Charolais breed was here in 1971 for the premiere of this world-famous event… 80 head were exhibited, and the sale grossed $61,825.00. No doubt cattle type has changed over five decades and some of those early dedicated breeders are not with us, but the strength of the breed and the enthusiasm of the new generation is truly evident as you tour the barns. Since the inception of inter-breed championships, this breed has attained the most Supreme Championships of all the Continental breeds and in every sale barn throughout the nation, Charolais influenced stockers and feeders are champions every sale day. New for this 50th is the Players Club Championship futurity for bull calves at 10:30 Thursday. Possession of the Players Club Champion will be a part of the exciting herd sire prospects for 2021. We are extremely proud and excited about our sale line-up with several unique picks which allows the successful purchaser (s) selection from an entire program. The live offering has been selected for ideal quality phenotype, combined with new and proven genetics and complete with a competitive nature for the show on Friday. Semen packages and the right to flush rounds out the 50th history makers. Plan to be a part of history as we celebrate the success of the Charolais breed and it’s achievement spanning fifty years, whether it be with us in person, online or on the phone. During these times, feel free to give any of the T Bar C Team a call and we will be pleased to assist you in a professional and confidential manner with your selections.

PLAYER’S CLUB CHAMPION

GET IN THE GAME

This is an incredible opportunity to own the Champion of the Players Club, voted on by the Top Charolais Breeders in the country! Watch for an updated supplementary sheet and picture of the new Champion on both www.buyagro.com and the Saskatchewan Charolais facebook page before the sale.

CLUB

The SCA is pleased to offer the Player’s Club $50,000 Bull Calf Futurity as the lead off lot in the CWA Sale! Top breeders will gather at Canadian Western Agribition on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. in the John Deere Sale Arena to select the 2021 $50,000 Player’s Club Champion! Selling ¾ Interest and Full Possession. No semen can be sold or gifted in Canada until 2023 as the bull will remain exclusive to the Player’s Club membership until that time. International semen sales (including every other country other than Canada) are not restricted in any way or form. Semen may be collected for use by the 1/4 interest owner and the ‘purchaser’ of this lot at their expense. All semen will be collected at Bow Valley Genetics. The bull will be sent to Bow Valley Genetics as soon as he is deemed to be ready and must freeze the required amount of semen for all Player’s Club members prior to being able to be released to the new owner. The SCA will cover the costs of collecting semen for the Player’s Club membership. Every effort will be made to collect semen in a timely manner but all bulls respond to collection differently and therefore the SCA cannot guarantee when the bull will be available for natural breeding. If you have any questions, any SCA Board member or the sales staff of T Bar C, will be happy to answer them for you.

When sitting down to write footnotes for SVY Profound the dictionary descriptions of the meaning of his name struck a chord with us as to how they fit this exciting individual so perfectly. We feel SVY Profound has the ability to propel the aspect of surefire calving ease coupled with truly amazing performance to even further heights in the Charolais breed! This bold featured and robust made individual with superb structural soundness a unique pedigree and large testicle development has been truly amazing to watch since birth. Being born unassisted with a light birthweight out of one of the finest first calf heifers we have ever calved out Profound has gone on to smash previous individual performance levels and set new bars for performance in our program, to top it all off a feat accomplished from a first calf heifer. SVY Profound is the first son of CCC WC Redemption to sell in Canada and is backed by a “Starstruck” dam who will quite simply take your breath away upon first look with her impeccable body build and truly flawless udder.

Miss Prairie Cove Cays 159J is a result of traveling thousands of miles in the summer of 2018 with our good friend Justin Cay to find a female that could make an impact on our programs and to say the least 159J’s mother, Berkly Ann has done that for us. The body that Miss Prairie Cove Cays 159J exhibits will absolutely be unmatched for any female her age, she is a stunning creature from end to end and has to be admired for her truly unrivaled hair coat and and over all sweep to her rib cage. Miss Prairie Cove Cays 159J is a daughter of the great BRCHE Berkly Ann 8707 PLD ET, the two time Farmfair grand champion female winning unpresidential as a calendar year heifer calf and as a bred heifer. Berkly looks amazing and will be campaigned this fall with Miss Prairie Cove Cays 159J at her side. Being one of the first daughters of the $50,000.00 Players Club Champion PCC Brewitt 929G makes her even more intriguing as the outcross pedigree and look and body Brewitt has added to his off spring has been transforming for our herd here at PCC. This truly is a once in a life time opportunity to own a piece of Charolais royalty, BRCHE Berkly Ann 8707 is a true Charolais Breed Legend as you will see by her stand out ET crop of calves this fall and spring. Miss Prairie Cove Cays 159J has all the pieces in place to go on to make her own mark in the Charolais breed and leave a lasting impression on any program.

When we think about JLo (the one and only Jennifer Lopez) we think; timeless, limitless, powerful with undeniable beauty and presence. We might be a bit biased but we think the same things about High Bluff Jlo 53F. JLo was born to be a show heifer- she loves the attention! She is feminine, angular and stylish yet powerful- just what we think a Charolais female should be. JLo’s dam is a beautiful Triumph cow that is backed by many powerful and predictable cows in our herd that produced for us for many years. We really love our Triumph females and our bull buyers love the bulls backed maternally or paternally by Triumph shown by their continued topping of our bull sale. We would love to tour you through our bull pen to show you just how well the Triumph x Mescalito cross worked. We are excited to offer these new genetics for our 2022 bull sale featuring many bulls with these genetics backing them. JLo is the first Mescalito offspring to sell. She has a gentle disposition and would be a great junior project or an asset to any herd.

Both Fergie 3J and Fantasia 16J are deep bodied, broody heifers with eye appeal and are well balanced with a nice disposition. Their dams are both good hard working Females. Fergie has a very good maternal sister retained in our herd and Fantasia’s dam raised a high selling bull in our sale last spring with her first calf. This is one heifer that really should be retained within the herd. Roxanne 158J comes from a line of highly proven females that produce time and time again. Her dam has been put into our ET program; it just shows how highly we think of the Roxanne females. Carbon Copy was added to our AI program and he surpassed our expectations. The females are attractive, feminine and still carry a ton of substance to them; and the bulls are masculine with great muscle dimension and have loads of performance. On the maternal side 158J’s granddam is a flush mate to Gerrard Pastor; needless to say she has a stacked pedigree. You really have to appreciate this heifer for the over all length of spine, depth of side and the attractive package she is wrapped in. Roxanne will go onto be a valuable asset in any operation.

Forensic consistently stamps his calves with that extra look and she is obviously no exception. Her maternal grandsire was a high seller purchased from the P&H Bull Sale. SEMEN DONATION LOTS The Semen Auction is a fundraiser run by the Canadian Charolais Youth Association (CCYA), where semen from top bulls in the breed are generously donated from various breeders across the country. All funds directly support the youth. The semen donated is auctioned off at one of the fall sales and all proceeds go towards programs of the National Board. Particularly, leadership scholarships are presented at the conference and show from funds raised through the Semen Auction, recognizing senior members on their contribution to the Charolais breed and their leadership among other Charolais youth members. The CCYA National Board would like to thank everyone who has donated and supported in the past for making our programs and scholarship opportunities possible for our youth.
