Crossroad Farms 7th Annual Bull Sale

Page 2

Welcome from Crossroad Farms! We warmly extend an invitation for you to attend our 7th annual bull & female sale. We have increased the number of bulls in the sale to attempt to accommodate your needs. New this year is the addition of 22 open purebred heifers, they are as good as you will find anywhere and we are confident they will be productive females for their new owners. We would like to thank all the bidders and buyers from our past sales, many of you traveled long distances to get here and we really appreciate the effort you made to attend. Thank you to our many repeat customers for your continued support and confidence in our program. We have enjoyed getting to know you during the past 16 years of our involvement in the seed stock business and we truly value the many friendships we have made. We want to welcome new customers and we look forward to assisting you with your bull needs. Many customers come to the farm before the sale where they have more time to make their selections. Feel free to stop by the farm anytime, we always enjoy those visits in the bull pen. Tell us about your program and we will try to help you as best we can to make the best choice. The future has never looked brighter for the beef industry and the commercial cattleman. With beef cattle numbers at a low, the outlook is very positive for prices to remain strong for many years. Simmental genetics have so much to offer, superior maternal traits and performance to produce heavy weight steers and top end heifers to fill the huge demand for replacement females. Choosing a herd bull is one of the most important choices a cattleman has to make. A good bull will pay for himself when you sell his first set of calves. A poor bull, and especially if you keep your replacements, will cost you for years. It really pays to buy the best genetics you can. The bull sale pictures were taken in November and early December almost three months before our sale date. We wanted to show customers the potential that we see in these bulls at this young age knowing that on sale day they will be purchasing a lot more bull, we hope you like this too. We have also tried to provide enough information in the footnotes to help you make your choices, but if you have any questions, please call, we are always available. Again, our sale offering is strong with good quality and selection, from calving ease to performance with solid genetics that are semen tested and ready to go to work for you. At this time we would like to say a sincere thank you to our family, friends and neighbors who without hesitation give us a helping hand, before, during and after the sale. Special thanks to Farin Wasden for all her excellent help with our animals and for working week-ends to help me picture. Thank you to Claude Wasden and all the crew working in the back, Jerry, Brian and staff, our good ring men; your work is very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday February 20th. If there is a bull you are interested in but are unable to attend the sale, we have again our very reliable and capable sales staff to bid on your behalf. Just let us know or contact anyone of them for professional service. Come early and enjoy some Crossroad hospitality, there will be lots of food and refreshments. We hope to see you at the sale and our sincere appreciation to all who have expressed interest in our program. The Woytiuk Family
