Welcome to the CMT Farms Black Angus Bull and Female Sale, Wednesday March 23, 2022, 1:00 pm at the ranch, Cochin, Saskatchewan. This is their 8th Annual Bull and Female Sale but the first at the CMT headquarters. Over the past couple of decades, Chad and Michelle have been raising a family and building a high-quality source of Black Angus breeding stock. Chad agrees with me that this is the strongest most powerful group of bulls they have ever offered. Uniform in quality from end to end, complete with plenty of performance, muscle, testicle, and lots of hair. The sires of these exciting herd bull prospects encompass the finest genetics in the Angus breed… Breakout, Ranger, Roper, Gunslinger, Final Answer… so similar in type and numbers simply because when building this great cow herd, the selected traits were milk and performance at weaning… the basics of beef cattle. The fancy heifers offered are sisters to the bulls …. future foundation builders, yet suitable for juniors of any age. As we restock the North American cow herd, owning these heifers will be of great value on down the road. Hello everybody and welcome to our 8th Annual Bull and Heifer Sale and 1st at CMT Farms Ranch. We are pleased to offer this set of Black Angus yearling bulls and heifers to you on March 23, 2022. We would like to thank our previous buyers and supporters of our program in the previous years, we could not continue without your support. In our humble opinion this is the best set of bulls we have ever offered. There are some calving ease bulls along with some big time performance type bulls, their offspring should push the scale down. These bulls are built to go and perform out in the real world and thrive in tough conditions like we have here in Saskatchewan. The sale lineup of purebred heifers we picked are fancy, docile and deep sided that should go out and be very functionable females for whoever their new owners become! We will also have a select group of top cut commercial replacement heifers from our commercial herd. We encourage anybody to come and see the bulls anytime at the farm before the sale. TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Each animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association unless otherwise specified. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. PEDIGREE ESTIMATES: Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such. HEALTH: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements. GUARANTEE: Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Angus Association with regard to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness.
