Your hosts, Karl and Karen, are now into the fourth generation through their juniors; at Glenlees, Corey’s daughters are fourth generation; (Bobby Hull will tell you it feels like four generations;) Kevin and the folks at Blairs.Ag are multi-generational in several breeds; which leaves the Brooks Family as the rookies. The important fact is the selection and genetics are time tested and the cattle that are offered, come to you with a high degree of predictability! Their bull sales each spring are very successful, simply because of many repeat customers liking the outcome of the sires they select. The offering is very exciting.... ANL has the deepest and strongest sale lineup they have ever offered, whether you are looking for a fancy competitive show heifer or a front pasture bred female. The genetics are diverse and predictable. The Brooks Family, even though they are building and increasing their program, believe in only selling females out of the replacement pasture. Welcome from ANL Polled Herefords...
O
nce again it is sale time!!!! They say as you get older the days go by faster. This sure seems to be the case this year. It seems not too long ago we were calving and getting a first glimpse at the 23B and 80C calves. These sires did not disappoint! We grow to appreciate the calves more each day as they mature. We are also excited with the purchase of our herd sire TH 71D and look forward to those calves, as well as the WhiteHawk 845C calves. These calves will add some genetic dimension to the herd. We feel the breds we have selected will make a great group of cows and are very proud of this group. Once again we welcome Brooks Farms with their cosignment. Some of the best from their herd. Corey always brings a great group as well as Blairs.Ag Cattle Co. And their consignment. Feel free to join us for BBQ brisket Friday night if you are able.
