Elementary Grade 3 Music

In Grade 3 Music, we are learning how to play Boomwhackers. Boomwhackers are musical instruments that are tuned. We are playing our boomwhackers on a free website, which is fantastic.

We are learning how to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, one of the theme songs from Star Wars and we will get to choose a song, out of two song choices, which song we would like to master. We are reading music, playing music, working on our tempo (speed), working with others, and becoming even better musicians. We will be continuing this unit of learning, after Winter Break.

We are now choosing our song to master as musiciansour choices are: “How Far I’ll go” from Moana and “In the Jungle” from the Lion King.
