A fun filled family day out. A variety of stalls including a Gin bar and Beer tent, food stalls, mini rides, Help is at Hand, plus entertainment all day with local groups, dance groups, musicians and more.

Something for everyone. Come along and enjoy the fun!

Organised by Syston Summer Fayre Committee a group of local volunteers.

Syston & Thurmaston Litter Wombles

The Syston and Thurmaston Litter Wombles recently organised a successful litter pick near the Hobby Horse, Syston, collecting an impressive ten bags of rubbish. If you're interested in joining their efforts, check out their Facebook page Syston and Thurmaston Litter Wombles.

Birstall Scouts and St James Last Night at the Proms

Once again after a very successful show in 2022 Birstall Scouts and St James Birstall Parish Church are putting on a last night of the proms showin aid of the church and the Scouts.

Tickets: £10 per head on the door or if you get them in advance £8 per person and £20 for a family of 4 (2 Adultsand 2 children under 12.)

We are proud to have the Bilton Silver Rugby Band to preform for us once again this year.

It will be all the normal music and songs and lots of flag waving.
