The unstoppable rise of an artist taking over the EDM scene.
With millions of streams on digital platforms, support from industry heavyweights, and performances at some of the world’s biggest festivals, GT_Ofice has established himself as one of the most promising emerging figures in electronic music.
In this interview, he shares his journey so far, the experiences that have shaped his career, and what we can expect from his upcoming projects.
You Appeared Three Times on the Billboard Dance Charts Last Year. How Did That Achievement Impact Your Career?
It was definitely a turning point for me. Seeing my music resonate with so many people and being featured alongside some of the biggest
names in the industry was surreal. It validated that my sound was making an impact, opened the door to more collaborations and shows, and strengthened my confidence in the creative direction I’m taking. It also motivated me to keep pushing myself even further.
With Over 22 Million Streams on Spotify, What Do You Think Has Been the Key to Your Success in Streaming?
Consistently releasing music and staying true to my sound has been crucial. I create tracks that connect with listeners on an emotional level, whether it’s celebrating love or exploring its complexities. Collaborating with talented vocalists, songwriters, and producers has allowed me to bring a unique and authentic touch to every song, helping me build a loyal audience.
You’ve Received Major Support from Artists
Like the Chainsmokers, Timmy Trumpet, R3HAB, Cheat Codes, and Many More. How Did Those Connections Come About?
A lot of it comes down to hard work and staying active in the scene. Whether it’s networking at festivals or through mutual industry friends, it’s all about building genuine relationships. When artists like The Chainsmokers, Timmy Trumpet, R3HAB, or Cheat Codes support my music, it’s a huge honor because I admire them so much.
Performing at Major Insomniac Music Festivals Must Have Been an Incredible Experience. What Was Your Most Memorable Moment on Stage?
One of the most unforgettable moments was playing “Every Thought of You” with ALWAYZ SUNNY in front of a massive crowd.
The energy was unreal—when the melody kicked in, I could see everyone completely in the moment, and when the drop hit, the whole place erupted. Seeing thousands of people vibing to a song that means so much to me was incredible. It was one of those moments where everything felt perfect: the music, the energy, the connection with the crowd. Definitely a career highlight.
Your Track “Tuff” with VASSY Reached #1 on the UK Commercial Pop Radio Charts. How Did That Collaboration Come to Life?
VASSY is an amazing artist with such a powerful voice, and I had always wanted to work with her. Actually, she was the one who reached out to me on Instagram—she told me she loved my song “Body Talks” and wanted to create something with a similar vibe.
From there, we started exchanging ideas, and everything flowed naturally. Working with her was a pleasure she’s so talented and brought incredible energy to the track. Seeing “Tuff” reach number one on the UK commercial pop radio charts was an amazing moment for both of us.
What Inspired You to Create Your Own Radio Show, GOOD TIMES ONLY, and How Do You Choose the Music for Each Episode?
I wanted to create a platform to showcase not only my own music but also the tracks
that inspire and motivate me. GOOD TIMES
ONLY is all about feel-good dance music, and I love curating each episode to highlight new talent, exclusive remixes, and festival anthems. I discover a lot of music through Digital Music Pool, which helps me stay on top of the latest releases and underground gems.
As an Artist Making Waves in the EDM Scene, What Advice Would You Give to Emerging Producers Trying to Break Through?
Stay consistent and keep refining your sound. It’s easy to get caught up in trends, but at the end of the day, your unique sound is what will make you stand out. Networking is also key—connect with other producers, vocalists, and DJs, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. And most importantly, enjoy the process. If you love what you do, it will shine through in your music.
How Do You Balance Your Time Between Producing Music, Performing at Festivals, and Running a Syndicated Radio Show?
It all comes down to time management and prioritizing what’s important. Some weeks are more focused on studio work, while others are packed with shows and travel. I’ve also built a great team that helps keep everything running smoothly, from scheduling to content creation.
The key is staying organized and making sure I keep moving forward without burning out.
What’s Next for GT_Ofice? Any Upcoming Releases or Collaborations We Should Look Forward To?
I have some exciting projects in the works, including a new single co-produced with my good friends Matthew Topper and Petie. I’m really excited about how it’s coming together—it’s been a pleasure working with them. I’m also gearing up for my world tour. It’s going to be an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to bring my energy to new cities. And of course, stay tuned for more episodes of GOOD TIMES ONLY, there’s a lot more coming!
If You Could Collaborate with Any Artist, Past or Present, Who Would It Be and Why?
Without a doubt, Avicii. His ability to blend emotional melodies with dance music was unmatched, and his music has had a huge influence on me. I would have loved the opportunity to create something with him. His legacy continues to inspire so many artists, including myself. I also would have really liked to meet him I think the conversations and creative energy would have been incredible.

We are back with another interesting interview within this section into our magazine. This time we chat with a great German-Turkish DJ and producer based in Turkey who already has an extensive experience in the global electronic scene. His name is Cengizhan… Let’s start it on!
By Juanjo Blanco
Can you share with us a quick introduction about who you are? Your name, home country, music style, etc. Anything you think is important to share with us and the audience?
I’m Cengizhan. I was born in Germany and live in Turkey. I started my music career in 1996. I perform in the Melodic House, Melodic Techno, Techno Peak Time, Progressive House and Organic House genres.
One of my singles, “High End”, reached up the 8th place on the Beatport Hype Top100 List and DJ Korolova included this single in her list. Additionally, David Guetta featured the single “Sparkles” in his podcast. I have performed at many festivals and important venues since 1996, and I have also been a DJ trainer since 2008.
Can you tell us a bit about your background and where you grew up?
I spent my childhood in Germany. Afterwards, I came to Istanbul, Turkey. I studied high school and university here. I was introduced to Electronic Music while listening to the radio in 1996. It impressed me a lot. I have never stopped electronic music since that year. I first graduated from the university with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Strategy. I worked as a Classical Turkish Music Vocalist at the “Üsküdar Musıkî Cemiyeti” for about 13 years and I have been playing Guitar and Violin for a long time. I also studied at Istanbul University State Conservatory. My love of Electronic Music has brought me to this day.
What motivated you to pursue a career as a DJ? Music influenced me a lot in my childhood. When I heard the sounds of electronic music on the radio for the first time, I felt very different emotions. I decided at that time. So that I will never break away from music and live with music throughout my life. Then I saw DJs performing on TV and I decided to become a DJ by imagining myself being there.
Who are your influences?
If we go back to the past, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Murat Uncuoğlu are the artists I took as examples in shaping my music and starting my stage life.
How would you describe the music that you play?
I first define the music I play as a composition. I define it as making the audience think by making them dance among emotions and, when necessary, taking them to endless emotions. I describe it as sometimes romantic, sometimes happy, sometimes emotional and sometimes enthusiastic.
What are some of the challenges you face as a DJ and producer?
One of the biggest challenges as a DJ and producer is staying innovative and constantly evolving. The music industry changes very quickly, and to keep up, you need to constantly reinvent yourself. Also, being consistent both on stage and in the studio while staying creative is a big challenge.
Another issue is that if you’re good at your job, you’ll also have many unseen enemies. Sometimes, you face sabotage attempts that affect you negatively on stage. With the rise of social media and the globalized world, people who have little to do with music can still end up at festivals or nightclubs due to their popularity, which unfortunately leaves many skilled and musically rich artists in the shadows.
What key competencies do you think are required for a DJ and producer to succeed?
To be a successful DJ and producer, it is essential to have a good music school experience, knowledge of music theory and technical skills. In addition, it is very important to have originality on stage and the ability to influence the audience and to have a strong communication with the audience.
To know music thoroughly, it is necessary to have the skills to analyze music theory and harmony mathematically. You also need to be a good listener. It is necessary to be able to hear the pieces you listen to in minute detail and to know exactly what kind of emotions the pieces you will play on stage will convey to the audience. Most importantly, in order to be a successful DJ and producer, it is necessary to show respect and love to other DJs and producers and to respect their work.
How do you stay informed about the latest developments in music trends?
I constantly stay in touch with other DJs, social media and music platforms to stay up to date with the latest trends in the music industry. I also follow festivals and events in my own country and other countries. I both listen and observe DJs’ stage performances.
Can you describe the methods you use to captivate and engage your audience?
Constantly renewing yourself, following trends in your field and understanding what your target audience wants are basic skills for a successful career.
It is necessary to constantly be in communication with the audience and care about them. In order to establish a good bond with the audience, it is necessary to analyze well what they want and present the stage well. When you act sincerely and respectfully, you expand your target audience. By capturing positive energy, you capture the audience with quality and effective music.
What aspect of being a DJ brings you the most personal satisfaction?
When I feel what you want to express and present with your music, in its fullest and most literal sense, and when I experience it together with the same warmth. I also feel happy when I see and feel the emotions I want to convey in the eyes and facial expressions of the audience through the music I produce and my performance on stage.
Right now, you are working on a new project. How are you finding this new and exciting challenge?
Yes, I’ve worked with Ertan Koculu on several different projects. Our mindset and working styles complement each other perfectly. He’s already very successful and has been continuing steadily.
When he proposed the idea of Hypecue and invited me to join, it made me very happy. Being part of a music-centered company and feeling like I’m at home with other artists is truly exciting and fulfilling.
The rapid success of the project didn’t surprise me much because I call it the Ertan Koculu effect. I’m confident that when you ask me the same question a year from now, you’ll see how right I am.
How do you allocate your time between the production room and DJ performances?
When there is a DJ performance, I work separately for each scene. I research new tracks. I prepare tracks and lists that will suit the scene. No two of my scenes are the same.
Each of them has a unique composition. When doing production work, I prefer a quiet time and a moment when I am vigorous. I continue production work in a relaxed mood. I practice a track over and over again at separate times until it is finished. I quit when I feel tired.
How has your workflow changed with new technology?
With new technology, I can find what I am looking for much more easily and efficiently. I can also communicate with DJs and producers on the other side of the world and get ideas. I see the disadvantage of being able to access everything very easily and quickly, as what is produced is consumed very quickly.
Considering your roles as both a DJ and producer, which areas do you consider most critical for your career growth? These could include securing bookings, interviews, social media presence, collaborations, or experimenting with new equipment.
When you take the stage at a festival, you need to give an effective and very good performance. A strong performance helps you get recognized by listeners who may not have known you before.
On the other hand, you need to make your tracks effective and of high quality, and they must be able to convey the exact emotion to the audience.
Photos and videos of the event are shared on social media, allowing you to reach a wider audience. This will help you get booked for more events, and the interactions, short interviews and connections made at these festivals will propel your career forward. Meeting other artists and collaborating on projects also plays an important role.
What sets you apart as a DJ? What makes you different from others in your field?
What makes me different as a DJ is the techniques I use on stage, track selections for the stage, strong communication with the audience, and being respectful and loving towards my environment. Also, my past experiences help take me to a much better place in my job.
Where do you see yourself in the next 2 to 4 years? What are your professional objectives for the year 2025?
Now I have a new goal for 2025. Performing abroad and performing at festivals. Releasing new singles.
I want to reach more audiences and make my music and performance heard by more people. At the end of 4 years, I want to have performed on many international stages, produced many songs and had a large audience.
If you weren’t a DJ today, what would you be doing?
I would most likely be pursuing an engineering career.
Any final thoughts or comments you wish to share with us?
Thank you for everything. I will continue to remain innovative and energetic. The path and journey to the goals is very difficult and requires patience.
It is necessary to move towards the goal without ever giving up the struggle. I am grateful to my listeners. I will continue to produce music and stage performances as they wish.
The year 2024 has been very good for me.

Care, with 18th years of career behind and over 500 tracks released on prestigious platforms, has earned recognition for his ability to reinvent the trends of House and Techno, blending them with sounds typical of Latin and African music, positioning him as a pioneer of new trends within the genre. The talented DJ from Colombia, continues to prove to be a producer full of ideas who rides the wave by offering his fans tracks that are perfect for the current electronic music scene
The artist’s 2025 started with new music like “Luna Negra”, “Dame Flow” and “El Fun K T” with catchy latin sounds, released for his own label Anfrix Records, “La Espiral” released for the colombian Calipso Recordings, “A Golpe” that will be released the 21st of February for the italian Union Records and “Africali” that will be out the 28th of February in the label of Aaron Sevilla, Sunset Gathering.
In this edition of February, Eleonora Vologni talks with Care about his new tracks, his creativity as a producer and future collaborations.
You are one of Colombia’s best known DJs and also an extraordinary producer. In which of the two roles do you see yourself more?
It’s interesting how both roles complete each other perfectly. Production is the seed, and DJing is the harvest; both are incredibly exciting, the real magic happens when I see the audience enjoying what I created in the studio, seeing people dance and connect with my sounds is an indescribable feeling, and that motivates me to keep exploring and creating more music.
When you decide to produce a new song, where do you start? How does the process of your productions develop?
I don’t follow a rigid formula. My creative process may start with the inspiration of a Latin sample from the 80s or 90s, or perhaps a bass line that grabs me from the first moment, however, what really marks the basis of my productions are the rhythms of salsa, merengue, cumbia and bullerengue, combined with the versatility of house music. Each production is a fusion of sounds that adapts according to the energy and emotions I want to transmit.
Care, you have released many new tracks on your label Anfrix Records, can you tell us where the ideas for tracks like “Luna Negra”, “Dame Flow” or the more recent “El Fun Ke T” came from?
Each of these pieces reflects an evolution of my afro house approach, a sound I’ve been working on and perfecting for more than 12 years. In “Luna Negra” and “Dame Flow” , I wanted to further explore folklore, incorporating elements that honour the roots of different countries, but always fused with the modern groove of house.
“El Fun Ke T” has a very particular touch: it is a mix of the energy of 90s merengue house with the freshness of current sounds, creating a unique and explosive atmosphere.
What is it like working for other big labels like Calypso Recordings, Union Records and Sunset Gathering?
Working with renowned labels is always a challenge, the demands are high, and the commitment to quality is also high, every project I release with them must be meticulously taken care of from the first beat to the last detail in mixing and mastering, it’s an intense process, but very rewarding, because I know that each track has the potential to reach a global audience that appreciates my work.
“A Golpe,” set to release on February 21, is your new track coming out on a prominent Italian label, “Union Records.” What’s the story behind this track?
A `Golpe’ is a clear representation of what is latintech and afro house, the piece has a very special dynamic, where the energy of afro house meets salsa samples, creating a unique atmosphere, this track was in the works for a while, as I wanted to make sure it reflects the essence of the urban sounds of my city, Bogotá, the streets of the city, with its vibrant cultural mix, were my main inspiration. Finally, Union Records fell in love with the idea and didn’t hesitate to release it for distribution.
At the end of the month “Africali” is released on one of the most important Afro House labels in the world, Sunset Gathering, Aaron Sevilla’s label. How did this collaboration with Night Mao come about?
The collaboration with Night Mao was absolutely natural and fluid, beyond being great friends, we are colleagues who share a deep connection in the entertainment and music industry in Bogotá. Over the years, we have worked together on various projects and have always maintained a relationship based on mutual respect and trust.
During an event in the city, we had an in-depth conversation about the evolution of ‘new afro’ and how tribal and Latin sounds were gaining impressive traction in the market. That night, Night Mao shared some acapellas and sequences with me via WhatsApp, although it may sound curious, that direct and barrierfree communication was key for us to define the direction of the track quickly and effectively.
Due to mutual artistic commitments, we couldn’t meet physically in the early stages of the production, but a week later I had the basic structure of “Africali” ready in the studio, in less than eight days, the piece was already well advanced and close to its final version, despite the distance, we worked remotely and coordinated all the details, making sure that the vision we had was perfectly executed.
Finally, we met in the studio to listen to the finished work. It was at that moment when we could really appreciate the result of our collaboration, after a couple of final adjustments and some additional touches, we sent the track to Sunset Gathering, who accepted the proposal immediately, the connection was magical, not only for the quality of the final work, but for the synergy that we have always shared as friends and entrepreneurs committed to deliver the best of us in each project.
You play a lot in Bogotá, your city, what do you like most about it?
Bogota is a city full of life, diversity and magic, it’s a place where music has no borders, here you can find from small cafes with live music to big clubs with a vibrant electronic scene. What I like most is the inexhaustible energy of the people: Bogotanos enjoy music without prejudice, no matter the genre or style, there is always room for creativity, and that’s something that inspires me deeply. In Bogotá, the party never stops.
You have played several times in Spain, how do you define the audience and the atmosphere?
Spain is, without a doubt, the gateway to Europe for many Latin American artists.
The Spanish audience has a unique energy; it’s a mix of locals, tourists from all over the world and a growing group that is embracing Latin sounds, Afrohouse and everything related to the music of our land. Although the tech and techno scene is still predominant, the demand for Afrohouse has grown considerably, the audience is always dedicated, ready to enjoy a good party, and that’s what motivates me to keep taking my music to new horizons.
What are your plans for 2025? New collaborations?
My main focus for 2025 is to continue creating fresh, quality and authentic music. DJ Care is a deeply committed musical project, backed by a talented and professional team that accompanies me through every step of the creative process, from production to on-stage performance, my team plays a key role in ensuring that every performance and every release is held to the highest standards.
This year I have several collaborations in mind with artists from different parts of the world, which will allow me to explore new sounds and expand my musical horizon.
I have also received several invitations to participate in clubs and events in Latin America, which will allow me to take my music to different corners of the continent, I am considering the possibility of spending the summer in Europe, playing in renowned clubs and festivals, the most important thing for me is to keep myself constantly evolving, always looking for new ways to connect with my audience and take the music I love to new frontiers.
This is just the beginning of what promises to be a year full of new experiences, challenges and opportunities, with the energy to deliver the best of me, both in the studio and on stage.
“A Golpe” and “Africali” are the last two songs released by the artist from Bogotá, who started the year with the publishing of several new tracks. Released on the 21st of February on the Italian label Unions Records, “A Golpe” is a hymn to South America and the Latin origins of the Colombian artist who, with an innovative fusion of salsa rhythms and contemporary house music elements, promises to deliver a unique listening experience that will resonate in the hearts of listeners.
“Africali”, is a collaboration between Care and Nightmao and will be out on the 28th of February for one of the most important Afro House labels, Sunset Gathering. Founded by Aaron Sevilla, one of the main exponents of the genre in Mexico, Sunset Gathering is a record label that is redefining Afro House globally, which has quickly grown to become an international reference in electronic music. Its approach fuses traditional African rhythms with contemporary electronic elements, creating a unique sound that has won over DJs and music fans around the world.
“The perfect atmosphere for a party, the vibrant sounds of Colombia and Latin America. A sound experience that transports you through cumbia, urban acapellas, salsa, and other genres that bring to life the cultural essence of the region, creating a unique atmosphere where music becomes the driving force.
With each mix, Latin roots are awakened, leading to a journey of pure energy, passion and joy”.
CARE
Tribal and Afro House are now the main musical genres of Care but he also loves Latin music, like every Colombian in whose blood flow Latin sounds. These are the main sounds that characterise his latest tracks “Luna Negra“ released on the 24th of January, “Dame Flow” published on the 31st of January and “El Fun Ke T” released on the 7th of February all of them on Anfrix Records. The versatility and desire to experiment that characterise the artist, have led Care to release tracks also for other labels in his country like Calipso Recordings for which he published “La Espiral” on the 14th of February.
With his unique style and ability to fuse beats from all over the world, Care continues to conquer the major electronic music platforms and labels. Each of his releases reflects not only his growth as a producer, but also his passion for music that connects cultures and feelings. Don’t miss his upcoming releases, because Care’s magic is just beginning.

Martin Garrix & Jex Present the Acoustic Version of “Told You So”
This time, the duo surprises us with an acoustic rendition where the emotional essence of the track takes on a new meaning.
Available since February 14, this version strips away the electronic production of the original track, making way for a more intimate and organic performance. With delicate and minimalist instrumentation, Jex shines with a heartfelt vocal delivery that highlights the song’s lyrical depth.
The absence of the signature electrifying beats allows listeners to immerse themselves in a pure and sincere sonic experience.
This new version of “Told You So” not only showcases the artistic versatility of Garrix and Jex but also offers fans a different perspective of the song, inviting them to connect with its message on a more personal level.
If there is someone who consistently follows the path of well-structured, continuous work, it is undoubtedly the artist we will get to know in this interview. A self-made professional with an extensive career behind him, he values every aspect of the electronic scene, both on and off the stage. He is Dikiye Sound…
Thank you for this interview, Dikiye Sound. It’s a pleasure to have you in Sync Beat Magazine.
Hello, everyone! Thank you for your interest in me and my work.
Before we dive in, we’d love to know more about Dikiye Sound. Where and how did your passion for electronic music begin, and what has your career journey been like so far?
Dikiye Sound is not just my stage name; it’s also my philosophy. My love for music started when I was 12 years old, but I discovered electronic music later on.
Over time, I realized that I wanted to dedicate my life to music, and at 19, I began performing. Last year, I celebrated 20 years in the industry.
At this point, I can say that my creative portfolio may not be vast, but it is significant.
I was an official artist at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Sochi and hold a record in the Russian Book of Records for playing a 12-hour-long set. Since last year, I have been running a digital label and organizing electronic music events.
You need a clear vision of your goal and a systematic approach to achieving it.
I feel very comfortable on stage no discomfort or shyness. I simply do what I love and try to do it well.
Just last year, I brought 45 national and international artists to our region.
Have you encountered any unique challenges, opportunities, or obstacles in your country? How do you navigate the scene?
I haven’t faced major difficulties in my country. Here, you can develop yourself as an artist and musician. It’s not easy, but it’s possible.
How would you define your sound when DJing and producing?
Interestingly, I am constantly learning. I have not yet achieved the sound I truly desire, which is why I study and practice every day. As for style, I have moved away from identifying with just one genre.
To me, it’s simply electronic music, and I adapt my sets based on my mood and the atmosphere at the moment.
Of all your performances, which one has impressed you the most, and which one did you enjoy the most?
The most memorable moment was when I performed for FIFA in 2018. Two of my dreams came true: meeting and talking to Paul Van Dyk and Benny Benassi, my favorite artists from my youth. I’ve also shared the stage with great names like Lost Desert, Chaim, Inamo, and Kenny Glasgow.
Let’s talk about your label, Nuwe Label. What is its philosophy, and what artists have been or will be part of it in the future?
My label is young, just over a year old. It doesn’t focus on a specific genre but rather on releasing tracks that come from the artist’s heart.
Together with my manager, we carefully select the material. I have already signed Chris Coles, Karim Mazit, Rocco Lazzaro, and Ecliptic, who has even been released by Solomun on his label. There are other names that we will reveal soon...
You are the exclusive agent for Mediterranean Promo Group Spain in your country. What is your role, and how do you carry it out?
I mainly work in southern Russia, particularly in the Caucasus, where I plan to expand the presence of our artists.
Let’s switch topics and talk about Technotau. What is its essence, and what is your role within the festival?
Technotau is one of the most iconic festivals of my life. I am its music director. The idea came from my friend Yuri Alibekov, who proposed the concept to the administration of the Arkhiz complex.
Our philosophy is to blend music and technology with a spectacular production, elevating the experience to another level.
How did the audience react to the first edition of the festival?
The audience loved it. Every artist and headliner brought their unique essence, generating an unparalleled energy.
The most memorable moment was New Year’s Eve, with 5,000 people dancing in the main square of the Arkhiz Resort.
What can we expect from Technotau in 2025?
Recently, I became their agent in Russia, thanks to Sampleking, who recommended me. My job is to organize performances for the company’s artists.
In 2025, we have big plans for the summer. I won’t reveal all the details, but I can share that we will have a larger venue, more artists, better sound, and enhanced lighting.
What are your future plans as an artist and artistic director of Technotau?
I hope to continue as music director and DJ. Although the final decision lies with the organizers, I would love to keep being part of this festival, which feels like an extension of myself.
Any final message for our readers?
I want to tell everyone to listen to music, develop their creativity, and not be afraid to start. Time is limited, so it’s better to try and learn than to regret never having done so.
Thank you for the interview see you on the dance floor!

Technotau (Технотаu) is a festival that takes place in the mountains of the North Caucasus, specifically in the town of Arkhiz (Karachayevo Cherkesiya - Russia).
The Sync Beat Magazine team traveled to see personally the first edition of this festival that was a resounding success reaching an attendance of almost 8,000 people. In this report you will learn on firsthand everything happened at this festival, whose summer edition is planned to be held in June 2025.
Without a doubt, one of the pleasant surprises in terms of festivals that the end of 2024 and starting 2025 has been the first edition of “Technotau” (Технотаu), a festival held in the mountains of the North Caucasus in the Russian Federation.
A part from the editorial team went there to see on first-hand everything that happened and returned to Spain pleasantly surprised, with good feelings experienced because the organization not only did it wonderfully but treated the team with great professionalism and attention.
We traveled by car from the South of Russia to reach the town of Arkhiz (Karachayevo Cherkesiya) and be able to see the beginning of the festival whose dates ranged from December 30th, 2024 to January 2nd, 2025.
This festival featured resident artists from clubs in the area, established artists within the Russian Federation and international artists such as King a.k.a Sampleking, artist of our last January 2025 magazine recent cover.
The staging of “Technotau” had a great quality and sophistication: They built a stage with a large “UFO” at its highest point for giving a sense to the festival, which is about a flying saucer driven by an alien -that loves electronic musicand who lands in the mountains of Arkhiz to join the great event and have a good time dancing with the crowd.
Among the headliners who performed at the festival we found Alessa Khin, Kolya Funk, Misha Tune, King a.k.a Sampleking - from Spain - and Lilova. Other artists worth mentioning are Butterfly Effect, Murat Grayson, Feelin, The Professor or Karim Mazit; the head of Ibiza Club in Nalchik, Azamat Kaufman and the DJ/producer & the digital label Nuwe Label director, Dikiye Sound (Artur Ulimbashev) -also artistic manager of the festival whose interview you can also read in this issue- who together with Yuri Alibekov, the creator, promoter and “Technotau” director made our stay very pleasant by taking care of the entire team all the time.
The festival took place at different spaces of the ski resort, including a strategic point on top of the Arkhiz mountain at an altitude of over 2,000 m, where DJs played from the opening of the ski slopes until closing.
From the evening onwards, all attention was focused on the large stage located in the main square of the Arkhiz ski resort, where music was the main protagonist until approximately 1:00 or 2:00 am.
Among the aspects worth highlighting, we can enumerate the large attendance, the synergy between artists and audience, the spectacular lighting, the sound and the magic created around the festival.
For Yuri Alibekov, it was a magical moment as the festival was aimed at all audiences and for all the people who were going to be at the ski resort during the Christmas period. It was a great success!
Another point to highlight from Yuri Alibekov was the fantastic workgroup, optimized and full of synergy that at all times responded to expectations, facilitating all management and, above all, proposing solutions to the incidents that arose as it was the first edition. Without a doubt a spectacular success!
On the other hand, both Yuri Alibekov and Dikiye Sound (Artur Ulimbashev), told us that they want to do an edition in a few months - specifically this coming summer 2025 - with more surprises, more spaces and novelties that will surely surprise everyone. They are also getting down to work on the winter 2025/2026 production and are already actively thinking about how to improve the success achieved.
Our team was grateful for the treatment received. We only have words of gratitude towards the general management of the festival and its artistic direction. We hope to see you again soon in a future edition of “Technotau”.
From Syncbeat Magazine we recommend that you pay close attention to the news that may come out of the next edition because we are sure that it will give a lot to talk about, not only in the Eastern European scene, but internationally. Long live the “Technotau” Festival!
