CINDY MONTENEGRO is
a Salvadoran American mental health therapist and storyteller from Paramount, California. She received her graduate degree in marriage and family therapy from Chapman University and a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara. Cindy works with people of all ages to explore their emotions and strengths to create a road map to self-love, growth, and healing. This is her first children’s book.

an illustrator on a mission to create meaningful and fun in which children can see themselves as the worthy and capable people they are. She currently lives in Durban, South Africa, with her beloved husband and two wonderful children and enjoys spending time outdoors.
