How many times have you said this already this year, “I can’t believe it is 2020”? Hard to believe we are at the first issue of 2020!

We have some exciting plans for 2020; some new forms, new classes and new venue for the Education Fairs. I may even get a magazine published on time. Don’t hold me to it!

Marc Worthy, Assistant Attorney General is developing an Advertising Workshop specifically for remote (from Tacoma and Spokane) areas of the state. The Workshop is on the calendar for Everett (April 6) and Bellingham (June 4). Check WSIADA.com for details.

New Board Members. We have only one more Board position to fill, Chapter President for Spokane.

We have a draft of a new customizable Privacy Policy document available. Watch for details in Quick Cover and on our webstore on WSIADA.com. Watch for sales on popular WSIADA products. We plan to have a week-long sale every month and will have quick weekend sales as often as practical. The weekend sales will pop up periodically and may include deep discounts on inventory overstocks. You will only know about the weekend sales if you shop our WSIADA.com on the weekends. They will be largely unannounced, except for this notification. We also hope to have a popular buy some, get some more free or at a reduced price for those of you who like our numbers and slogan strips. Education Fairs East and West are on the calendar. Locations for both events are TBD as we go to press. EAST: Spokane, July 14 just before DAA Rock and Roll sale. DoubleTree Spokane tentative. WEST: Western WA, August 13, Location to be determined. Looking into hotels near SeaTac. Chapter Meeting Schedule – Spring is posted on WSIADA.com. Note that the Advertising Workshops in Everett and Bellingham respectively take the place of our normal locations. Going forward, we will not be

Wasim (Joe) Azzam joined us recently from All Right Auto Sales to serve as President of the South Sound Chapter. Wasim wrote a column for this month’s magazine. I will announce our new Yakima Chapter President in the next issue. He needs to be approved at the next State Board Meeting. I have no doubts about approval, but I do not want to jump the gun. Meghan Blake joined us to manage the Western WA Auction Stores at ADESA on Tuesdays, Manheim on Wednesdays and DAA Seattle on Fridays. Meghan on the team allows us to open for longer hours: 8:30 AM to Noon. No more excuses for not being able to buy needed dealer supplies at our Western WA Auction location! Stop by and say “Welcome, hello and I would like to buy some supplies”. And yes, Meghan comes to us with very high expectations from dad, Dave Blake, GM at DAA Seattle. Thank you, Dad.
