SY DN EY C SH E A 315 W 15th Street Minneapolis, MN sheax196@umn.edu 651-829-4437 Sydney Shea found her way to landscape architecture from an academic background in environmental design and visual art. She seeks to connect people to place, process, and product by testing experimental drawing and making that catalyze conversation and bring diverse perspectives to the table. Her current work uses inventive representation tools for storytelling and research to speculate possible futures of a defunct Cold War missile base in rural North Dakota. When she’s not in the studio you can find Sydney reading a food magazine, planning her next meal, or at the landscape arboretum in her home state of Minnesota.
