Here is the compilation of works which I have been managed and participated since my study years in UiTM Shah Alam (Architecture, Surveying and Planning Faculty) up to my past working experiences — 2009 until 2016.

Therefore, I would like to thanks to Almighty Allah SWT, both of my parents, mentors, lecturers, friends and colleagues for giving me such good lesson and in walking through this path, up until this day. Without them, I might not have the opportunities to make this portfolio.

SERENITY BLISS a therapeutic residential

In this project, the objective is to tackle issues on the elders as they make up the majority of the population on the area. The site is located by the Jalan Enggang, near to the main road, Jalan Jelatek. It has been one of the example of an urban regeneration at its best within the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.

DESIGN PROCESS // CONCEPTUAL //

GROUND FLOOR PLAN // All the communal programs are injected at the main focal point of the building, which is on the ground floor. The communal spaces are at the side of each setback because the intention is to create an island type plan organizaton. The main programs are located at the sides along with the elevator shaft for direct connection.

MEZZANINE RESIDENTIAL FLOOR PLAN // The typologies are arranged in a linear organization to minimize thinking disturbance and stress along the pathway. It is divided into three blocks, where each blocks are occupied with outdoor garden (terrace steps) for social gathering or any family events.

HIKARI NO GAKKOU

a japanese international school In this project, the brief is to design an international school at a site located in Kota Damansara. For this project, I chose to propose Hikari no Gakkou, a Japanese International School. It is designed by the implementation of cultural sense and system for accomodating educational style in Japan.

DESIGN PROCESS // CONCEPTUAL //

GROUND FLOOR PLAN // Entrance is divided by three different users: school’s staff, students and services. School staffs will enter at the drop off zone, directly towards the admin building. Students entrace is at the outer drop off zone, to the hall for assembly before spreads towards the class. Services route is located at the west of site.

FIRST FLOOR PLAN // As the school is designed in horizontal way, the only spaces that are two stories are the classrooms. They were located at the north of the site, which is isolated from noise elements from the neighbourhood.

revitalising interior space The project is to revitalise five student centres inside University Malaya Campus. As all of them are public realms, creative approached that are involved in this project are by using recycle material, response to the site context and programmes, and 3d effect.

#CONTAINER LAYPARK A Lifestyle Arena

The project is to propose a youth spot for culutre and lifestyle at a site in Ipoh, Perak. As it is open for festival and seasonal programmes, it is designed to be an arena with public stage and cabin vendors all around.

Designed as an arena at the centre, with canopies (for local DIY vendors), west side wih few cabin spaces, stalls, cafe and stage for performance.

CAPISCH PAVILION

a theatre centre This pavilion was designed for Yayasan Sime Darby Art Festival competition. The design brief is to design a mini pavilion to be used as a performance stage that can accomodate 150 persons.

THE STATEMENT //

LAYOUT STUDY //

Capisch Pavillion design is based on the idea of people complexities in the future. Due to people consciousness about time, future deeply depends upon humankind act. It brings huge possibilities in people’s politic, economy, and power as they want to put effort to secure their stake.

Capisch pavillion would be built to let the users interact with the space and each of them can find their own individual comfort in public. Through anthropometric and ergonomic studies, the spatial quality is derived to accommodate different psychological senses.

These considerations result in the dynamic form and function, where it depicts to the nature of fabric.

Ultimately in performing stage, the curtain is an essence in a performance. Thus, the presence of this fabric in performing art is very significant. For this reason, fabric is chose to be the symbolic approach of this pavillion.

By its smooth, flexible, and fluid nature, the derivation of fabric through form and function in Capisch Pavillion is the reflection of people complexity beyond space.
