ELYSIUM PREMIUM VILLAGE OUTLET will be sited in Meru Raya Township, Ipoh. The P.V.O. aim is to create a meningful experience for people to walk through and enjoy and therefore want to come back and enjoy. ELYSIUM main purpose is to bring its user(s) into an environment that mimics tropical landscape complemented with river or waterbody that continuously flow and encourage the users to explore while engage in outdoor activities like shopping, relaxing, hangout, socializing & dine in.

“Tropiscape Resort”

Case Study : Stream Valley Walk

The concept is inspired by a case study carried out during design inception in Thailand

‘Stream Valley Walk’. The idea behind the waterscape is to bring lifeness and create an attraction to a barren

site while also encourage the customers to interact with water ‘Interactive waterscape’ means to bring water and green closer to customer while engaging in the activities involving water

_Softscape_

The edges become seamless integration of hardscape & softscape encouraging activties & program to occur

_Water Features_

Create elongate and linear water features along the middle area

_Program & Activities_

The integration of softscape & hardscape become point of interest & encourage public to interact with water

_Cross Circulation_ Create a direct connection from one to another along the path

_Waterscape Design_ Vegetation were added acting as natural shading devices with smooth and cool ventilation create small microclimate

Eureka Residence 02

Each units were provided with planter box at the balcony and at corridor which can be shared among the community. The planter box encourage community to be closer to nature and create strong bond among them. This approach of concept is to help introduced the 60 % expatriates from UTP to Malay-

sia in terms of climate, culture and nature that it can offers since they are new to Malaysia. Covid-19 pandemic also make it difficult to carried out their routine lifestyle. By providing planter box, it can create opportunity for occupants to explore new hobby in gardening and in future co-exist with nature.

Site chosen were Site B. Massing model derived from the site. Take the whole site as buildable area and make it as one big mass

The whole massing then split into 2 blocks located at north & south of the site with 2 core & offset inward to provide island circulation. Meanwhile the middle become central garden/plaza.

The excess unbuildable area then transform into green area. The massing also is redefined by providing horizontal linkage to 2 massing.

The facade were pushed inward to make the massing looked defined and each unit and floor complemented by planter box

Repetition of facade with planter box (horizontal) creating sense of calmness complemented by vegetation growing in (vertical) manner.

[VITA]LITY GLAMPING

Glamping stands for glamorous camping. Glamping become mainstream due to Covid-19 which confined people in their home property. The Glamping can be part of strategy to generate income for tourism because of lockdown and welcomed people to escape and embraced nature. The Glamping Eco-Village were inspired by bicycle matching with the client chosen whom involved in “keirin” also known as bike racing in Japanese . The core of this glamping came from the idea of bicycle pod which allow for self-accomodation meanwhile the whole building acting as a big pit stop or R&R.

Family Pod

VITA [A] POD emphasis more on to Sungai Perak picturesque as selling point. It give that sense of freedom and escapism contrasing the flexbility of VITA [C]. The Pod is equipped with green wall modular to signify the lifeness of the building and basic neccesities for accomodation.

VITA [C] PODS

Single Pod / Couple Pod

VITA [C] POD encapsule that sense of dynamism by impose bicycle camper which is a mobile pod flexible to move anywhere thus evoke the sense of glamping. The pod is provided at the bike camper shop which allow public with bicycle to use it as self-accomodation with basic facilities provided around the site.

Concept: “Revitalization”

The Old Town of Lumut and Rebana Perak is a relics that facing toward extinction due to lack of preservation and restoration. Both are a pride of Perakian. To facilitate the issues, Information Center is constructed as contemporary solution to solve the issue of urban decline in Old Town Lumut and Rebana Perak. The aim of the project is to inform the public and pre-

serve Rebana Perak The concept is revitalization defines by adding newness & strength by preserving and restoring to ensure it survival inspired from shophouse in Lumut Old Town. This is done by intergrating the shophouse building features and mix match togetherwith a stretched cowhide which is main material for Rebana Perak famous for it stiffness and flexibility.

Mini Project

The aim for this project is to inform the public about Rebana Perak. The idea was that after informing the public, a Information Centre will be build in order to gain more attention and awarness of preserving the old instruments. Thus the kiosk is used during inception to inform small group of people about the Rebana Perak The Kiosk is compli-

mented with collection of old antics Rebana and some other allocated space for display and demonstration area. The idea is to create a seamless experience for the public and evoke the nostalgic feeling. The material was carefully selected which is timber since the old traditional Malay has always been associate with timber.
