SIZ Approximately 70% of lead-acid batteries over a period of time stop operating because of a build up of lead sulphate (sulphation) on the plates. Charging the battery does not stop this sulphation from happening.

INOX mx2 Battery Conditioner can be added at any time during the life cycle of a lead-acid battery, but for the best results and longest life for the battery, it is best to add the INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner at the start when the battery is brand new.

Battery dosage instructions are included in each 92ml box and on the back label of the 1, 5 and 20 litre containers. Golf cart batteries require the following dosages, 6 volt - 60mls per cell, 8 volt - 45mls per cell and 12 volt - 30mls per cell. A single lead-acid battery cell is 2.2 volts but is normally taken as being 2 volts.

2.2 volt cells used in power supply, stationary, traction, solar batteries, etc have a special formula. All measurements and calculations must be done in metric, all measurements must be taken to the outside of the 2.2 volt cell casing. There is a 1000 litres in 1 cubic metre. To work out how much INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner is needed for each cell: Multiply the width by the length by the depth of a single 2.2 volt cell, divide the answer by 2 and multiple by 3%. EG: A battery bank has 12 cells (like an electric forklift), each cell has a width of 10 cms (.1 of a metre), a length of 12 cms (.12 of a metre) and a depth of 60 cms (.6 of a metre), therefore .1 x .12 x .6 = .0072 divide by 2 = .0036 x .03 (3%) = .000108 (108mls). (.0036 of a metre multiplied by 1000 litres is 3.6 litres per cell and 3% of 3.6 litres is 108mls per 2.2 volt cell).

NB: INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner is not a cure all, it will not fix mechanically unsound batteries.

What is INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner.

INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner is an electro-chemical catalyst that can be added to all lead-acid batteries to increase the performance and life of the battery.

What are the benefits of adding INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner to a battery.

It helps stop lead sulphate build up on the plates, increases battery life by up to 2 to 3 times, increases battery efficiency by up to 18%, gives brighter lights, faster starts and recharge.

Will INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner work in older batteries.

Providing the older battery has only a sulphation problem and is mechanically sound, it should add another 1 to 2 years life to the battery. NB. There is about a 1 - 2% failure rate when adding INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner to batteries that are 2 years old or more.

What is the INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioners manufacturer's warranty.

When INOX-mx2 Battery Conditioner is added to a new battery in the first 2 weeks and the completed warranty form is sent to Candan Industries Pty Ltd, there will be an additional full replacement warranty on the battery equal to the battery manufacturer's warranty to maximum of 12 months and will start the day the battery manufacturer's warranty expires. Can INOX-mx3 be used as a polish ?

INOX-mx3 is good as furniture polish for polished timber surfaces. INOX-mx3 will clean and polish stainless steel sinks (use a plastic 3m type cleaning pad). INOX-mx3 will clean and polish fibreglass (use towelling or cheese cloth).

Why is INOX-mx3 a better lubricant around the home ?

INOX-mx3 doesn't gum up, become sticky or gooey, DOESN'T DRY OUT OR WASH OFF WITH WATER. Other WD type sprays because of their solvent base tend to evaporate quickly, where INOX-mx3 because of its lubricating oil base will last much, much longer. INOX-mx3 will keep door locks, hinges, sliding doors and windows, skate boards and roller blades, bike chains, garage roller doors, etc, working like new for months on end.

Can INOX-mx3 be used as a penetrant ?

INOX-mx3 will readily penetrate the severest of corrosion and free up nuts, bolts, screws, threads, pins, bushes, bearings and parts from rust and corrosion and help keep them in good working order.

Why is INOX-mx3 so good on fishing tackle ?

INOX-mx3 will keep fishing reels corrosion free and in good working order. INOX-mx3 will not affect fishing lines, protect fishing rods, keeps hooks, swivels and lures corrosion free and in good condition. INOX-mx3 will not dry out or wash off with water. INOX-mx3 WILL NOT TAINT BAIT. Can INOX-mx3 be used on Sporting equipment ?

INOX-mx3 sporting applications include pistols, rifles and shotguns, golf clubs and buggies, BMX and motor bikes, Go Karts, boating (both power and sail), off road vehicles. Use INOX-mx3 to clean, lubricate and protect the above.

Can INOX-mx3 be used on power and hand tools ?

INOX-mx3 will keep all air and electric powered tools clean, corrosion free and well lubricated. INOX-mx3 in the non-aerosol form can be sprayed directly into electric power tools to reduce bearing noise. Keep spanners, wrenches, planes, hammers, saws, etc, clean and in good working order. Use INOX-mx3 on oil stones when sharpening chisels, plane blades and knives.

INOX-mx3 can be used to lubricate and clean wheel barrow wheels, pruning shears, chain saws, garden tools, all lawn mowers and whipper snippers. INOX-mx3 helps stop lawn clippings sticking to the underside of mowers. Use INOX-mx3 to protect and lubricate children's play equipment and swings, pool pumps, gate latches, locks and hinges. Cleans and protects TV and radio antennas.

What applications does INOX-mx3 have in Marine ?

Use INOX-mx3 to lubricate and protect from corrosion, battery terminals, wiring, switches, lights, bilge pumps, outboard motors, alternators, starter motors, winch and control cables. Helps keep radios, radar, antennas and equipment free from corrosion. Lubricate sail tracks (will not stain sails), sliding hatches, locks & hinges. INOX-mx3 STOPS ELECTROLYSIS. Where can INOX-mx3 be used on cars ?

INOX-mx3 lubricates and frees door locks and hinges, control cables and linkages, starts wet motors. Frees up nuts, bolts and parts frozen with rust and corrosion (exhaust manifolds and pipes, suspensions, etc). Cleans and polishes vinyl dashes and upholstery. Spray INOX-mx3 across the front of the vehicle when travelling long distances at night in the country, it will make it easier to remove the bugs and insects next day.

Does INOX-mx3 have a commercial application ?

INOX-mx3 is used for the repair and servicing of air conditioners, office equipment, ride on mowers, chain saws, welders, woodworking and laminating machines, air and power tools, etc. INOX-mx3 stops computer keyboards from sticking. Keeps electrical and electronic plugs, connectors, micro-switches, terminals, circuits, power boards, solenoids and switch gear free from corrosion and in good working order. Lubricates CPU fans (computers).

Does INOX-mx3 have a farming application ?

Use INOX-mx3 to lubricate and protect from corrosion, PTO splines and couplings, sprockets, chains, irrigation pump motors, windmill gears and linkages, electrical systems, starter motors, generators, alternators, relays, solenoids, battery terminals, shearing hand pieces, overhead gears and drive shafts, winches and cables. Frees up corrosion and rust frozen parts, track & blade bolts, exhaust systems, nuts, bolts, pins, bushes & pin bearings.

Does INOX-mx3 have a transport application ?

Use INOX-mx3 to lubricate and protect air brake slack adjusters and linkages, roller doors, side curtain tracks, door locks and hinges, air and electric start motors, wiper motors and linkages, alternators and air horns. Use INOX-mx3 to protect and give longer life to brake, tail & clearance lights, relays, battery terminals, solenoids, wiring, electrical and air hose connectors.

Use INOX-mx3 for repair and service work on fuel injectors and pumps.

Does INOX-mx3 have an industrial application ?

INOX-mx3 is Food Grade approved, the Australian Government Instrument of Approval is freely available on request. Use INOX-mx3 to stop corrosion and give protection to coldroom fan motors, electric forklift systems, switches, relays, solenoids, wiring and motors in high moisture areas. Lubricate and protect pneumatic systems and solenoid valves, factory roller doors, sea container latches and hinges. INOX-mx3 is very good for cutting and milling Aluminium, stops tool chatter. Use INOX-mx3 for tapping and thread cutting. Protects blow moulds, dies and printing plates.

THE INOX FINGER TEST This is a very simple test to show the quality and durability of INOX. On the first finger of one hand, spray WD40, CRC5.56, RP7 or any one of the other WD type products and rub the finger and thumb together vigorously. On the first finger of the other hand, spray INOX. Rub the finger and thumb together the same way. After about 20 - 30 seconds the finger that has been sprayed with the WD type spray will start to become dry and lose it's lubricating ability whereas the finger that has been sprayed with INOX will continue to stay wet and slippery.

INOX-mx6 is a fully synthetic Extreme Pressure grease formulated to give premium performance and food grade purity. This grease is composed entirely of ingredients which meet the requirements of sectio 178.3570 of the US FDA regulations and have been cleared for use within registered establishments by the US Department of Agriculture and will not deleteriously affect meat products.

INOX INOX-mx6 6 is i a smooth th lilight ht b browngrease made from polyalphaolafins and a special bentone thickner.It contains additives to protect against corrosion and oxidation. It has a temperature range of -300C to an extremely high temperature (HAS NO MELTING POINT). It will operate not stop to 2500C all day with short bursts up to 3000C without breaking down.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a premium grade anti-friction medium which gives increased lubrication ability between the contact surfaces. This reduced friction environment also lowers operating temperatures.

INOX-mx6 WILL NOT AFFECT RUBBER. NB. INOX-mx6 is a premium grade clay based Extreme Pressure grease. Using it with a non-clay based grease can seriously affect it's performance. Before using INOX-mx6 grease, it is advisable to remove any other non-clay based greases by flushing or pushing out the old grease with INOX-mx6 in a grease gun.

INOX mx-7 provides high film strength, protects against start up damage in new and reconditioned machinery

PREMIUM INDUSTRIAL GRADE EXTREME PRESSURE HIGH TEMPERATURE LITHIUM COMPLEX GREASE with PTFE The extreme pressure and anti-wear properties of INOX-mx8 grease gives long service life under high loading and shock loading conditions from very low to very high temperature environments. These special characters of shear stability, combined with the inclusion of effective rust, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors and tackiness adhesives, ensures this grease to be the preferred recommendation for sealed for life anti-friction bearings. 7

INOX-mx8 has the ability to prevent scuffing and reduce wear under high load and shock load conditions, together with its excellent high shear stability and high temperature operation, makes INOX-mx8 the preferred choice over other E.P. greases.

INOX-mx8 resists 'SQUEEZE OUT' from surfaces requiring lubrication under load conditions.

INOX-mx8 has excellent resistance to water and water wash out even at elevated temperatures. Effective lubrication is maintained and it also gives protection against corrosion.

INOX-mx8 will not thin out because it is shear resistant or thicken because it resists oxidation.

INOX-mx9 No Chukka Chain Lube with PTFE is a superior grade, high speed, extreme pressure chain lube formulated with special tackifiers to help make it stay on the chain.

INOX-mx9 also contains the extreme pressure friction modifier polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for greater lubrication and reduced wear on the chain, links and sprockets under heavy load conditions.

is a fast acting degreaser for removing brake fluid, oil, grease or oil/grease dirt contaminants from chains and brake assemblies (including linings and pads), clutch plate/pressure plate assemblies before or after disassembly, leaving them bone dry and squeaky clean in a matter of minutes with no residue. In instances where the oil/grease and dirt is caked on, a second application maybe required and at the same time it is advisable to use a firm non-metallic bristled cleaning brush to help loosen any caked on contaminant. CAUTION: Contact with organic solvents such as alcohols, esters and keytones should be avoided.

The surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of any contaminants such as dust, oil, grease or powder.

Information on surface preparation for more critical applications is listed below. Once the surface area has been prepared, spray a liberal coating on the area you want to lubricate and then allow time for the carrier and propellant gas to evaporate. Curing times are listed below Before applying INOX-mx12 PTFE SUPA GLIDE, the surfaces sould be clean, dry and free of contaminants such as oil, grease, dust or powder. A light sanding with 120 grit sandpaper or emery cloth followed by a solvent wipe and air dry is usually sufficient. More critical applications requiring optimum adhesion, the following pretreatments are suggested.

INOX-mx12 PTFE SUPA GLIDE will cure at room temperature. Coatings are touch dry in about 5 minutes, dry enough to handle in 20-30 minutes depending on the film thickness. Optimum hardness for the best lubrication performance is 2 hours. You have to allow at least 2 hours from application before use. Overnight curing will give the best long term results.High humidity may increase opacity or blush and exposure to strong sunlight may cause darkening, but these will not affect the coating performance.

F.A.Q’s ON LANOX-mx4 LUBRICANT. What is LANOX-mx4 ?

LANOX-mx4 is a pure refined Lanolin and machine oil based anti-corrosion, anti-moisture lubricant.

What difference is there between LANOX-mx4 and INOX-mx3 ?

LANOX-mx4 has been designed for a more heavy duty application than the original INOX-mx3, it is not food grade approved like INOX-mx3 because it contains Lanolin, solvents and oil, it has no adverse affect on rubber.

Can I use LANOX-mx4 for applications that I would normally use INOX-mx3 ?

In about 60% of instances LANOX-mx4 and INOX-mx3 will have the same results as both contain no silicon, acids, kerosene or dieselene. They are both top quality lubricants, cutting agents and anti-moisture, anti-corrosion sprays. INOX-mx3 is food grade approved whereas LANOX-mx4 is not.

What are the areas that LANOX-mx4 would be preferred over INOX-mx3 ?

For example LANOX-mx4 is more suitable in certain marine applications such as Anchors, Chains and Shackle Bolts and in the protection of Outboard and Inboard Motors. INOX-mx3 would be best used in areas such as Marine Radios, Sail Tracks (non-staining) and the protection of stainless and aluminium fittings ( good for polishing aluminium and fibreglass). For use in Firearms, LANOX-mx4 is best used for long term storage purposes whereas INOX-mx3 has better applications for the day to day cleaning and lubrication (anti-static) so it doesn't attract dirt and helps clean barrel residues easier.

Does LANOX-mx4 have applications in the Farming Industry ?

Because of it's Lanolin base it has good long term applications in areas such as cutter bars on headers, lawnmowers, linkages, etc to protect against rust and corrosion (spray onto moving parts to give protection during stand down periods). LANOX-mx4 is a good anti-corrosion agent for bare metals in storage, stock crates or as a protectant after welding. LANOX-mx4 is also a good long term lubricant for areas that traditionally receive little maintenance attention (ie. gate hinges, stationary motors, etc).

Does LANOX-mx4 have applications for Earthmoving Equipment ?

LANOX-mx4 can be used as long term lubrication for linkages, cables couplings, etc and for corrosion protection in electrical systems as well as an anti-seize on track bolts and wheel studs.

Can LANOX-mx4 be used as a cutting lubricant ?

Yes, tests conducted prior to it's release found that LANOX-mx4 is an effective cutting, milling, tapping and thread cutting lubricant for a variety of metals. It is especially effective on aluminium

WHEEL BEARING REPORT The photos shown below are of 2 wheel bearings out of the same wheel hub of a rental car from one of Australia’s major car, bus and truck rental companies. Both bearings had been installed in the wheel hub for approximately 12 months before the hub was pulled down for inspection and this is what was found to be the problem. Both bearings are of the same quality standard. Both bearings were disassembled and washed in Perchloroethylene (an evaporating solvent) and allowed to dry and then photographed.

The first bearing was lubricated with a supposedly high quality imported grease from the U.S.A. As you can see from the photo, the bearing spindle has about 80% of the hard cased bearing surface stripped away and the bearing rollers are in not much better shape.

CAUSE: The grease used on this bearing was of such poor quality lubrication-wise that it totally failed, causing the bearing to overheat and tear away the hard cased bearing surface and in turn destroying the bearing rollers.

The second bearing was lubricated with INOX-mx8 EP Grease with PTFE. As you can see from the photo, there is absolutely no wear with this bearing, it’s as good as the day it was fitted.

NB. Each bearing was treated equally when they were disassembled and were only washed in solvent, allowed to dry and then photographed.
