ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO

HELLOOO!
Architecture through my eyes is seen as a beautiful solution to all the probelms and crisis being faced in the world.
I am Yadhubala, a 5th year architecture student, with a broken humor who keeps her hardworking and curious innerchild alive.
My focus for this internship is to learn, evolve, adapt to not just architecture, but different cultures, people and styles of both architecture and living.

“ The brief of the project was the design a museum in a given location. The museum had to showcase a particular theme, and as a whole has to be both informative and educational.”
The design had to be user friendly, easily accessible and guide users through a logical sequence of exhibits. The museum should adapt with the present site surroundings and context, while having a futuristic approach to it.
LOCATION : Devanahalli, Bangalore
YEAR : 2022
CATEGORY : Museum Design
AREA : 3 acres
The initial idea for the design was to provide a space that is easily understandable, and accessible by all. This has been achieved by providing a single routed walkway to make sure that the people entering the museum and those exiting it do not mix at any given point of time.
Ramps and Bridges have been used evidently all along the museum, this helps in connecting the different spaces and also serves as an attraction.

The given brief was to design a school of architecture which is student friendly, improves interaction among students. The site is located in the outskirts of bengaluru,it has a natural waterfall ( T K Falls )in the viscinity and has a stream of the fall flowing through the site, the site is challenging with extreme contours and vegetation. Materials have been used according to their local availability.
LOCATION : T K Falls, Bangalore
YEAR : 2022
AREA : 8 acres
A campus is always complete with its students. Students form the center and the main target group in the design of a campus.
1. CONNECTION BETWEEN THE NATURE AND THE BUILDING
2. CONNECTION BETWEEN THE BUILDING AND THE STUDENTS
3. CONNECTION BETWEEN STUDENTS AND NATURE
4. CONNECTION BETWEEN STUDENT AND STUDENT
The main idea of the concept is to:
Make use of the white noise from the stream which is one of the main features of the site. This white noise has been proved to have a good effect of the concentration and the mental health of students.
Making use of and retaining the natural vegetation of the site to create a healthy environment. Having maximum open and semi open spaces, for the students to connect with and experience this natural landscape.
Having balcony spaces, gathering spaces and interactive corridors to improve interaction between students.
( Semester 7)

A tiny compilation of the andc entry sheets, proposed drawings for a few projects and photography ( not a professional photographer, but love doing it).
The plan was designed for MRS. VIMALA GANDHI, bangalore. The site is originally a West facing corner site, with access from both WEST and SOUTH.
The request was for 2 residences, both for rental purposes, requirement for a balcony and 2 washrooms with one being common. The approach for the plan was minimal, ensuring there was free and easy movement.
