GOOD THINGS COME in threes and luckily for Northshore residents Pat Gallagher has added a third prospering restaurant to his catalogue. The first to open was Gallagher’s Grill in Covington in 2009 followed by Pat Gallagher’s 527 in Mandeville in 2015. Now, open since November, is Gallagher’s on Front Street in Slidell. “We’re happy to make coming to Gallagher’s easier for our customers to the East. Now we see them several times a month rather than just several times a year.” Pat began his long career in 1978 at Winner’s Circle in Folsom and served as executive chef at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Metairie for four years. Says the seasoned chef, “The core menus at all three restaurants are similar but daily specials at each are varied. We’re known for our steaks but we also have four to five fresh fish selections on the menu every night.” But in a region famous for food, customer loyalty isn’t earned without excellent service as well. “Our hallmark is personal touch. I stop by each table at the restaurant I’m at to welcome and thank the many patrons and friends we’ve made over the years.
