Hand-held devices, such as tablets, ­e-readers and mobile phones, must be safely secured in the passenger’s hand or a pocket during taxiing, take-off and landing.  Laptops / Notebooks Tragbare grössere Geräte wie Laptops oder Notebooks müssen während des Roll-, Startund Landevorgangs sicher verstaut sein. Der Gang muss frei von jeglichem Zubehör gehalten werden. Larger than hand-held devices, such as laptops, notebooks or other foldable devices, must be stowed away safely during taxiing, take-off and landing. Please note that accessories must not obstruct access to the aisle.  Besondere Situationen / Special situations Wir bitten darum, persönliche Kopfhörer nicht während der Sicherheitsunterweisung zu benutzen. Das Flugpersonal kann verlangen, dass nach einer entsprechenden Durchsage alle elektronischen Geräte aus technischen Gründen vollständig ausgeschaltet werden. Sollte Ihr PED zwischen die beweglichen Teile Ihres Sitzes geraten, verschieben Sie diesen nicht, sondern kontaktieren Sie die Crew. We ask that passengers remove their personal headphones for the safety briefing. For operational reasons the flight or cabin crew may ask for all electronic devices to be completely switched off, an announcement to this effect will be made by the flight or cabin crew. If your personal device should accidentally fall in your seat, please contact a crew member. Do not attempt to move the seats.

We offer SWISS Connect, a WLAN Internet connection with speeds similar to public hot spots on the ground. It is fast enough to access your e-mails, use social media or simply surf the Internet.

The AeroMobile telephone roaming service allows you to use your own mobile phone during your flight for voice calls, text messaging and mobile data services. It works just like roaming abroad.

 How to use it – Connect to the SWISS Connect WiFi. – Enter a web address in your browser. You will be ­re­­directed to the SWISS Connect portal. – Click “Go online now” and follow the ­instructions.

 How to use it – Turn off airplane mode. – You will be automatically connected to the AeroMobile network. – You will receive a “welcome” SMS from AeroMobile. You may also receive a pricing message from your mobile operator.

 Billing Our SWISS Connect portal will offer you a choice of three different data packages, along with recommendations on which of these will suit your needs best. CHF 9 20 MB 50 MB CHF 19 120 MB CHF 39  Free content Our SWISS Connect portal provides free access to our SWISS online travel guide and our “Airshow” allowing you to keep fully abreast of your flight’s progress (present position, estimated arrival time and more).

 Billing The charges are set by your mobile operator, and will appear on your ­monthly bill. Please note: Text messages can be ­received free of charge. If you do not wish to use the mobile data service, please deactivate the data roaming function on your mobile ­phone, to avoid being charged for inadvertent data use.
