I am really encouraged by the feedback received from the readers and the institutions/companies which are in association with our magazine. I am very excited to bring this magazine to you.

I’ve wanted to be there not just by virtue of being the editor but because I had something to say something that might join us for a moment in that miraculous way words can. There seems to be an increasing level of confidence displayed by our team in practice, as they realise that the market demand for their skills is growing at an almost exponential rate. As we work with multiple clients in various industries, we observe the changes in thought processes, best practices, and learn from them, and adapt as required.

What might you find when you are looking at the overall process where something simple might have been stalling it?

Astonishingly, I have seen people spend hours on finding elegant solutions where the answer lies in simple process changes. I would say, this ability comes from experience. And, most of the time, when looking at an overall process, I try to break them down into smaller and simpler bits which helps me look at the fine print and aids in understanding where the issues lie.

What are your views on today’s industry scenario? What is your strategy to reach new industries and new customers?

A lot has changed for UX UI in the post-corona world. Businesses have come to realize the importance of a robust digital presence and scalable solutions.

So, the focus has shifted to getting the user experience right online as well. And, there is a lot more focus on security, accessibility, and ease of use. Considering these aspects, we have observed a rise in Edutech, Fintech, and SaaS platforms. Our plan right now is not only to acquire more clients but also to present ourselves as the ultimate leaders in the industry.

How does Divami Design Labs work on making the industry better? What can be expected from Divami Design Labs in the upcoming years?

We are constantly evolving; both internally and externally. We plan to double our team in the next year with an influx of long-term clientele. By involving ourselves in the upcoming trends of AR/VR, IoT, and MR, we are working on solutions that reach the masses and bring positive social impact.

Explain the Divami Design Labs – Founder/ CEO’s journey to date, and how Divami Design Labs tackled any initial struggles?

Well, I started my career as a developer. I worked in QA teams, product development teams, and as a product manager in large enterprise software firms and have been part of the entire product lifecycle of software development. For the past 12 years, I have been running Divami and have seen UI UX grow from an afterthought to an essential part of product and platform development in India. When we started the company back in 2008, UX UI was not very well understood - very few understood what it was and the value it can deliver for their business. The talent pool was also limited. But, with an adaptive and customer-centric culture, we were able to swim against the tide and reach where we are today.
