Studio Outline
The studio focuses on adaptive reuse strategies, design interventions undefined extensions as well as interior space planning within existing structures. The studio is all the more relevant especially in our current context to create awareness and open up opportunities to help revitalize and preserve our heritage structures for the foreseeable future. Design proposals will seek to revive lost associations with our cultural icons by imbibing them with new meanings and contemporary expressions. Project sites along with appropriate programs will be identified ranging from heritage to icons of modernism to abandoned industrial landscapes. The studio stresses on the importance of adaptive reuse as a strategic tool to conserve and revitalize our built environments. It aims to integrate elements of interior design together with spatial articulation to explore new structural and services systems to accommodate program choices and design expressions.

tensile fabric is streched with the rings as the constant in both the axis
The stretched fabric encloses the volume in the space
The structure of the tubes are generated through the rings . Rings of different sizes forms the funal like structure , With it addition of the same gemtery in differnt axis is base structure is formed to it fabic like members are structed to give volume to the geometry
Anish Kapoor idea of stretched geomery is transilated into space making functional element such as the lift core bridge and light well . His idea of streched geometry is giving a structure with the inspiration form the tayo ito work - sendai media center where the twisted metal colum makes and breakes the structure .
The site being the steel cage like structure these tubes breakes the grid and generate the contrasting expression in the space.

Vadodara State Record Room reused as Google Office. An Idea Where Google - The New Age Record Storage Of The Internet And AI Era Is Set
Google offices are known for having a workspace that encourages collaborative working, In contrary to old-fashioned office structures designed by hierarchy. At Google, office culture promotes “casual collision” between employees. This encourages people from different departments are more likely to engage in un expected conversations and generate new, inspiring ideas.
Alchemy between the site and the interior creates a construct in a space which then dictates the volume inspirations of Anish Kapoor
Set In The State Record Room.
Anish Kapoor’s works are taken as the inspiration for creating such spaces. Spaces that cultivate Learning break the hierarchy and initiate interaction. His works aid as a catalyst in creating spaces-based experiences. Where people interact with the space in different ways to have different experiences. Space is not just perceived through its visual image but by the journey through it.
