Revival Catalog 2025

Page 1

On behalf of the entire Revival team, we would like to start with a sincere THANK YOU for your consideration and interest in our offering. We are all extremely excited about this year’s event and even more excited about the quality of cattle each of us has been blessed with to offer in this sale.

As always, we encourage and welcome your attendance to be present on sale day or before to view the offering in person, but we also recognize and understand that everyone has a lot going on as well, so If you have any questions on any specific lot, please feel free to reach out to any of the consignors about any of the offering regardless who they belong to.

The Revival team strives in bringing you the best that we can and put many efforts into having these females in the right condition and properly cared for so they transition well for their new owners wherever their new homes may be.

Once again, we can’t thank you enough for the continued support of all our repeat buyers and the new interest and consideration from those who have not yet been a part of the Revival.

We can’t wait to see you on sale day!!!

FThis is the REVIVAL team and who they are to the Potts Family and how the dots connect:

or those who have not yet been able to attend or be a part of the Revival or even if you have, I want to share with you the heart behind this event and a little about myself, my family, and the team. My family and I settled here in Wichita Falls in 2012, where my roots were first planted. Our home and now Potts Show Cattle headquarters were the existing home place of my grandparents Frank and Shara Morton of Morton Farms and also was once Red River Chi Angus, and it is also the same establishment that my mom, Keri Morton, Aunt, Lyn Landrum, two sisters, April Rusk and Torrey Harding, myself, daughter Addie and now our son Angler all raised our show cattle projects out of.

KT Club Calves- Keith & Tricia Miller - Keith and I were introduced by a mutual friend, Keith Come, and an introduction to buy a show steer for Keith’s daughter turned into a lifelong partnership and brotherhood that no value can be placed on. Keith had put together a few cows on his own and we got together and built off it, and are steadily adding to it. There’s been some significant cattle produced from His operation that have boosted many well-known operations in our industry. The Potts’ and the Millers have without a doubt become family and cherish our relationship in and out of the pastures.

There is a lot of history in this place, and we pray there is a lot more to be made. I am the 4th generation of raising show cattle on these same grounds which totals a legacy of 90 plus years that our family has been putting efforts into trying to make cattle to fit specific times and trends and hopefully be treasured. Kara and I started offering a small set of replacement females every year once the herd got to a number that allowed us to do so, and with that, started to see others having success with our genetics, and let me say that for us personally it’s just as pleasing to get to share those successes as it is to have one we raised in the winner’s circle.

As things have progressed and industry has followed culture, we started seeing that relationships were starting to decrease and regress and like the rest of society we as an industry were becoming more and more independent and that just never has settled well with my soul. It pushed us to advocate for more events that brought people together where we could continue to build relationships and connect and be able to grow together. So Kara and I started dreaming up the idea of a live auction, wasn’t sure if it was going to be with the steers or the breds, but just started dreaming on it. I started participating in a few by being a guest consignor and trying to figure out if it was something possible for our family, and then after lots of prayers I finally decided it was time. When I made the decision to use the live auction platform for the breds I told myself we were always going to focus on quality and not quantity, but with that I wanted to assure my buyers that they would have a plentiful selection to make sure that everyone would find something to buy.

Cody’s Cattle Service – Bret, Kasey, Caiman, & Maverick Cody - Bret and I crossed paths naturally just thru the show industry itself. The Cody legacy is no stranger to the industry, for it too is a multi-generational legacy that Bret and his family are carrying on extremely well. As we both started families and our independent careers, we were drawn to each other with the willingness to help one another wherever we saw a need and that to this day is still the case. Bret has been the one friend in this business that has always been more than willing to lend a hand when I needed one. He goes above and beyond time after time to assist in all areas of need.

Like us, Bret started with a few females and built from there and was all in on my vision for the Revival. Our families have been blessed to share many successes together with Addie having the champion ABC at San Antonio that the Cody’s raised and sold to us and both Caiman and Maverick having multiple successes that they’ve have purchased from us. Bret and his family continue to bring the goods year after year and always have one of the elite highlights in every sale. The Potts’ and the Cody’s have become family and cherish every time we get together in and out of the show world.

That’s where the TEAM came to play. I didn’t want just anyone to be a consignor, I wanted the ones that supported me through all my different seasons of life that could also use this platform to grow and broaden not only their business but their relationships as well. So off we went…….

Lucky Strike Show Cattle – Jerrod, Blayne, Kelton, & Kennedy Arthur – Jerrod and I began our relationship like most in the industry. Had a few mutual friends, crossed paths a few times, traded a few calves together and built from there. The Lucky Strike program sailed to the top at rapid pace with Jerrod’s gifts, abilities, and drive to be the best. Those that have been a customer or around him when he’s in the zone know the intensity that he operates with trying to give all he has every chance he gets. Here’s what a lot of people don’t know about Jerrod, he is one of the absolute most humble human beings I’ve ever been around, Jerrod has a heart to help and serve others at a level that is extremely impactful and encouraging. When Jerrod started putting his cows together it didn’t take long for the Lucky Strike program to become a major player with home raised cattle both in the show steer world and in the breeding cattle world. As my vision started to grow, and I started building my team I knew that the Lucky Strike program was for sure one I hoped would be a part of the Revival.

When I shared my vision with Jerrod, he was all in. Jerrod and his family have continued to bring some incredible seed stock year in and year out with always having multiple sale features each year. Not only has Jerrod always been a helping hand to my family, whether it be his willingness to assist with Addies steers year in and year out regardless where they came from, or just a wealth of knowledge in so many situations of the business, he also has been a friend to my family, who’s relationship we cherish dearly in and out of the cattle industry.

Jeffs Cattle Company – Tony & Brandy Jeffs – Just like the most of us, I met Tony and Brandy just by being in the industry. We naturally were drawn to one another just with curiosity and interest in the same kind of cattle. When I was just getting my feet wet of trading show steers Tony & Brandy supported me and my family at a capacity that couldn’t be ignored and will never be forgotten. Through their support we got to share many successes and smiles at multiple backdrops on some of the biggest stages possible. Not only was their support impactful for our family but they also helped Addie achieve one of her first Texas Major show banners by raising and selling us a steer that won the Americans at the State Fair of Texas in Addies 2nd year of showing.

CCC gave us the opportunity to feed a steer Addies senior year that was crowned King of the Ring 9 out of 10 times and made for one of the most memorable and cherished years ever, and our family hopes to be able to do the same for Hudson and Blair. As Brent and Robert started putting cows together and building the success stories that they have, they soon started being blessed with the opportunities to share some of their females, and when Brent and I met with my vision of the Revival just like the rest of the team it was a firm yes for CCC to join us. CCC has continued to provide some of the most sought-after females year in and year out, with having some of the best diversities being heavily influenced with winning American genetics. The Potts’ relationship with the Cromwell’s is something we are very thankful for and look forward to every opportunity we get together.

Collins Cattle – Colby, Shellie, Cierra, Claire, & Cricket Collins - My family and the Collins family have had a history together since I was in diapers or long before. The Collins family has been an inspiration and mentor for so many in this industry and has always been in my desires to be a part of the Revival team. When Colby and I got together and he said yes, he didn’t see me when I got back in my truck and started doing the happy dance to express my excitement.

As Tony & Brandy started expanding their business and acquiring some of the most recognized females in the showrings it was obvious that they would produce some of the most productive and top end cattle imaginable, and they have proved that theory right. When I took my vision of the Revival to Tony and what I wanted to accomplish, he didn’t hesitate with saying yes to being a part of the team and supplying some of the most productive females possible year after year.

Tony & Brandy, much like the Lucky Strike outfit have done an incredible job of providing diversified females that work for both the show steer world and the breeding cattle world. Our friendship with Tony & Brandy is something we cherish and look forward to every time we get together.

Cromwell Cattle Company – Brent, Makayla, Hudson, Blair, & Robert Cromwell – Again, like most of us, Brent and I met thru mutual friends in the industry and immediately started a relationship. I was on the brink of being established and Brent was in the trenches of starting what is now the CCC empire. I was always drawn to Brent with his boldness for not being scared and his determination to get to the top. As we became industry buddies and would support each other when we could, we started a friendship that rapidly turned into a brotherhood that has made it through the deepest of valleys and climbed the top of mountains and continues to be a friendship that is cherished.

Like many of the other teammates, CCC played a huge role in Addies show career and her many successes.

Since the first year of hosting the Revival here at Potts Show Cattle headquarters, and Christy being present to run our sale with her outstanding services through CCI, I just knew we had to have Collins Cattle apart of the team. With this being the Collins’ first year to be a part of the Revival, I can’t wait for everyone to see the set of females they are offering, it is some kind of impressive from start to finish. The Potts family is so excited to have the Collins crew as part of the team and can’t wait to grow our friendships as the years come.

I hope reading this has painted a picture of what the Revival is all about. It’s not just a cow sale; it’s a place to build relationships and friendships and buy into programs that will be there through thick and thin. We are not perfect and never will be but we as a team truly want you to succeed and we want to share your successes through these cattle that we have each been blessed with.

I hope that as you read you can see how each one of us on this team are normal people that all started with a dream and have worked diligently to get to where we are, and through each of our journeys, God crossed our paths and relationships were built and have continued to grow, and with the Revival we each want to see that continue. So, with all that said, we truly look forward to seeing you on Saturday June 7th in Wichita Falls and would love to have you join us for an evening of food, fellowship, and fun Friday evening June 6th where you can preview the sale cattle and get to a chance to meet the team and others as well.

MAN AMONG BOYS X YELLOW JACKET

What an exciting way to fire off the 2025 Revival Cow sale. This is without a doubt one of the most prolific donors we’ve had the opportunity to own. This year she surpassed $250,000 in progeny. Whether your focus is raising show steers or breeding cattle, she has proved she can work both ways. This red baldy female blows you away in person. It’s hard to make them this massive, big footed and powerful, and still have the femininity and presence that she possesses. She absolutely commands your attention.

It’s no secret The Man Among Boys females are proving their worth in production, and this one definitely holds true to that. She has sold one Here I Am son for $40k and two at $35k with one being the popular Reserve Grand Steer at the 2023 Oklahoma Youth Expo. She has averaged $34,500 on 5 head with the Maine Anjou sire TJSC End Game with her high seller being a heifer in our December Female Sale at $70k. She is open and ready to make our new partner some money

BUSINESS DONE RIGHT X 1157 ( SOLID GOLD / HOO DOO )

TAG 2

A prime-time opportunity to own one of the best donors we’ve ever raised. This female is square and densely packed with maternal strength and productive value, the kind that can anchor an ET program for years to come. She’s been a standout since day one and continues to flush with impressive consistency and quality.
Her progeny — both show steers and donor females — have consistently ranked among our top sellers.

The BDR × 1157 mating has been a no-miss formula for us, and now it can be for you! Invest with confidence in this elite donor. Whether you’re looking to build a new program around a foundation female or add a proven generator to your favorite donor pen, she’s the kind that will take your program to the next level.

Bred A.I. to Genesis due in August, P.E. to Good Time Charlie

AMERICAN BEAST X 1606

Royally bred American donor here in lot 3! Belle, as we refer to her as, has big time out there pieces from her extra long neck and big hard muscles. Her first flush to Num Chucks averaged $7000 on 5 head. We have acquired a bank of embryos by Num Chucks, Good Time Charlie and Kill Shot. She averages about 20 per flush.

We figured the proper investment was to offer her up while there is still tons of future left. I do believe the baby inside of her whether it be a Genesis or Good Time Charlie, could pay for her purchase regardless of what the gavel slams down on.

WALL STREET X SOLID GOLD

YEA DOG! This Wallstreet donor is in the prime of her life. Once we acquired her, she calved and stayed at the embryologist and made a slew of embryos. Her first flush this year to Uncharted Waters resulted in a slug of triple clean future replacements. Those will be offered in our annual heifer sale or THE REVIVAL as breds. We have a set of stompers coming in August that have me fired up.

Not many chances to buy quality American donors anymore, much less ones that are built and bred like her.

Dig in and get it on!!!

AFFLICTION X VEGAS

This black and white paint female has an awesome build. Square, good looking and perfect on her feet and legs. Her IGWT calves have averaged $7500. She has also generated some really impressive females that we have retained in the herd. She has a little age on her but still has some good production ahead of her.

Being TH and PHA free and having a maternal pedigree, you have a lot of options for matings. Her Tricked Out calf inside her could hit just right.

SOMETHING ABOUT MARY X BATTLE CRY

Pay Attention here folks an own daughter out of SAM that has already passed the test of motherhood. She calved May 5th with a beautiful little heifer calf and has an udder that we all hope for. Whether you want to make maternal stuff or swing for the fences with the clubby bulls on this triple clean beauty this one can do it. One that does not need to be overlooked and the kind that is extremely hard to let go of. Neighbors bull jumped the fence and this early calf is the result.

PE Kickback (PB Maine) 10-3 thru 1-14

REMEDY X BROKER

Another one here that you don’t want to miss!!! Simmi enthusiasts pay attention. Not only is she one of the top females to sell but she’s a PB Simmi!!!!! Broker x Remedy and built for speed.

Endless opportunities in many different areas!!! This female checked bred earlier in the year but since has became open. She sells open as is.

This Sam daughter is out of our 602 donor, which was a sale feature in last year‘s revival. She’s a three-quarter simmy that’s moderate and sound with a good set of wheels underneath her. She’s mated to Promise Keeper, which sired our high selling heifer in our Collection Female Sale. This maternally bred female can fit a variety of programs.
SOMETHING ABOUT MARY X 602 DONOR ( BROKER / HEATWAVE )
Dual Purpose MaineAngus! She’s got elite lines, great presence, and the hip and hind leg of champions. No need to spin the semen when you’re breeding this one, she’ll raise show heifers or steers that will sell themselves. BONUS: Her attitude is just as elite as her look! You will be happy to be the winning bidder on this one.

BBR X / IRISH WHISKEY

I dig this black and white beauty. It’s hard to make them this big legged and footed in a TH & PHA free package. A full sister had a first calf by May We All that brought $12,500 and branded in Houston this year for the Rust family. This one is bred back to the famous BDR for either a quick return or something you could have a hard time wanting to let go of. Big fan here!

WALKS ALONE X MAINE ANGUS
PAIR - Calf Killshot Papered ARB Brangus Gold

You won’t miss this one I’m sure of it. Without a doubt a sale highlight that is going to be one that has her fair share of success stories. Out of HL’s Lovin 750 and our 412 donor who’s a Broker out of Smilin Bob’s mom and is knocking on the door of being a near $300,000 producer!!!! TH free with endless mating possibilities!!! Get the DONOR pen ready. Full sib to lots 32 & 33

Here’s a nice redhead out of HL’s Good Business 419 and the heavy influential Hollywood donor from Collins. Study the features and how smooth made this one is. Going to be a mature cow that anyone will proud to show off.

JOLLY RANCHER X EASY JET / TRUE GRIT

Hereford time!!! Not only is she the only Hereford female in the sale but she is BAD TO THE BONE and TRIPLE CLEAN.

This female is a flush mate to Stiles Patin’s champion British at Cattleman’s Congress 2024 and a flush mate to the Champion Hereford at OYE 2025. This female’s mother, The Rockin L Ruby donor has quickly made a name for herself and is on her way to causing some damage in the Hereford show steer world. We are very excited for what’s to come in the future not only from the Rockin L Ruby donor but this female as well. I’d recommend having this one on the short list if you want to make some Herefords.

LOVIN 750 X 412
LOVIN 750 X 412 DONOR ( BROKER / SMILIN BOB’S DAM )

PERFECTION X WELSHANS/SCHMIDT 248

Shorthorn time!!! Check out the pedigree on this one!!! Miller bought a flush from Schmidt and Welshans on Ginger resulting in a couple of highly productive show steers and this female that we shouldn’t be selling. A perfection out of the famed “Ginger” donor of Schmidt and Welshans, folks this is big time stuff right here. Oh, did we mention she’s TH Free!!!! Big time opportunity on shorty that’s stacked in pedigree.

WHOA NELLY!!!!! DONOR ALERT!!!! There wasn’t an early visitor that did not comment on how much they liked this one right off the bat. This one is truly a unique specimen that is going to make some one a big time donor. Maternal sister to lot 40 and full of quality.

PAIR - OPEN ALL ME X GENERAL / TROUBADOUR

2022

This lot 44 pair is bad to the bone. This awesome paint female is built like they’re supposed to be and has proof at her side what she’s capable of. You’ll want to check this cow out but wait till you see her May We All heifer calf at her side. She’s worth some chips but I’m betting it will be hard to let go of her. TH and PHA free so you have a lot of options. I sold half of this cows dam for $12,500 and she’s a beast. Her Troubadour grand dam was a former high sale for Duello going to Howdy Tucker. This pair is legit!

COWBOY COOL X MAKERS MARK / 3 FEATHERS / HOO

A Beast of a Bull with Calving Ease on Both Sides of his pedigree- this guy comes with the kind of genetic backing that will generate on a herd of first calf heifers or proven cows. He hit the ground at a studly 55 pounds! Dive in on the next great calving ease sire for the club calf market!

Being a total outcross to all of the clubby females across the country, he’s a Win Win.

Yeah baby yeah!!!! A triple clean RED American that has got all the

Potts Show Cattle is retaining 50% Semen interest.

AI Genesis cleaned up with Good time Charlie

50 AIRHART X AIRHART ABC

Simply put, I’ve never flushed her…And she needs to be flushed! I think the Genesis baby inside her will hit an absolute grand slam. Big time opportunity to sack up a big league American that originated from one of the OG American influenced herds.

AI Genesis cleaned up with Good time Charlie WALLSTREET X LOADED UP / MAINE ANGUS

Wallstreet sure does put the big, good legs on them, doesn’t he? I really think this one has the right character and build to be taken back to clubby bulls and make lots of $$$$$$ for the next owner. Who knows, the Genesis sired calf in her belly may be just right!

OH MY Yellow Baldy!!! What a way to start our char division. Hang on folks this group is deep. Here at Potts Show Cattle we feel pretty strongly that this is the BEST female PSC has ever offered. Whether you like her as much as we do or not just get ready because you will be hearing about this one for many years to come if the Good Lord is willing. She is TRIPLE CLEAN and had Llama shag draping off her whole life.

Her Grandam known as “Black Betty” is also the mother to Addie’s Arizona National Reserve Grand Market Steer, The Mother to our sale feature of our first live auction that was sired by King of Swing and sold to Rory Duelms and has been a major producer for him, She is also the mother to a BDR female that Kelton Arthur bought from us as a open heifer years ago that has made her way to a top producing donor at the Lucky Strike program. “Black Betty” has left us with many memories and some outstanding offspring, and her legacy will continue with this incredible granddaughter. The breeding possibilities are extravagant and in my mind are endless.

Potts Show Cattle will be retaining 50% embryo interest and want our new partner to have possession opportunity but would be willing to manage her here if that is the buyer’s desires. We are very excited to offer a female of this magnitude and to bring REVIVAL to our new partners operation.

One of the two 1157 heifers that we are offering this year. This stout young female has donor quality written all over her. From day one, she’s had the power and balance of a big time female and she continues to mature into the type and kind that will raise the right kind. She is TH Clean.

IN GOD WE TRUST X 613

This statement might get repeated a few times throughout this section.

I promise if you show up to look this one will be on your short list and I’ll just leave it at that. Sister to lot 80.

FLATLINER X HEAT WAVE

This one shouldn’t be for sale and should have stayed in Giddings, TX. Our goal for Dad is to slowly transition the cow herd to all Americans. To do that you have to sell some that you don’t want to.

A big league bred female that goes back to a past sale feature of The First Class.

You Bet!!!! A BDR female that looks like a show diva!! This one is easy to find when you’re going through the offering. You can see the remnants of the crazy shag she had before shear day. The typical BDR muscles and an extra shot of bone and wow factor. Good stock right here.

Solid female from the Collins operation. If you study all of the Collins cattle you’ll find that they are all similar in build. Very genuine with as many extras as you can stack on them and this one is no different. I see this unit being a cow that will out produce herself time and time again. Jump in here on some genetics from Collins Cattle that don’t get offered just every day.

What a beast this Hereford sired, char cross female is!! High Noon was a Hereford marked bull bred by Hale that my Grampa purchased from Black that has made a lasting impact on a lot of herds. This female is some kind of powerful.
This female is a full sister to the 2018 Grand Champion steer at the National Western Stock Show in Denver shown by the Skiles family. She’s a stout, good looking female that has done a good job for us and has plenty of production left in her.
BDR X MONOPOLY / FRICTION

HERE I AM X SOLID GOLD / ALIAS

Silver is one freaky looking HIA daughter. Wide pins, big feet and a neck that touches the clouds. All that wow factor and to still be TH and PHA clean is hard to get. Her Solid Gold dam was an incredible looking donor for us that did an awesome job. Confirmed bred for her second calf to Amazing Grace, due shortly after sale time for a big return. She’s on the greener side of flesh, but pay attention here.

Kickback (PB Maine) 10-3 thru 1-14

HOLY GHOST X TRUBADOR / HEATWAVE

I’m not so sure this isn’t Collins Cattles most intriguing female of the offering. She’s a sib to multiple steers that have paved the way to success including 2 outstanding brothers that did their share of winning for the Mefford and Boxwell families. I won’t have to talk her up for you to find her. If you’re able to make it in person I’m pretty confident she will make your short list.

PE Rooster 9-30 thru 2-11

LOVIN 750 X 501 DONOR ( MAB / 848 )

TAG 112

2022

Sister to lot 36. A granddaughter of 848 and Lovin 750. Yes she is as good as her picture. Moderate but as fun to look at as anything on this sale. She won’t get missed. Her rooster could be dynamite!!!

PE Rooster 9-30 thru 2-11

AMAZING GRACE X 307 DONOR ( MAB / 848 )

Again this section is stacked deep and in no particular order what so ever. This female definitely is at the front of the pack in terms of quality and hard to make pieces. Her mother KT 307 is a MAB x 848 and has been and major player for the program. Her daughters have made huge impacts in several high profiled name programs in the Southern show steer industry. If you want to get in on one that sure enough has the ability to make some of the very best slick shear built offspring possible then get in here because she will do it. TAG

OUR DONATION LOTS

Garrett Barton has been a long time friend, of not only many of us in the industry, but to several of us that are a part of the REVIVAL.

Garrett was involved in a tragic auto accident and has sustained some serious injuries. He has been thru multiple major operations and will spend a good bit of time hospitalized.

Those that know the expenses that come with an event like this, know how hard it is to keep everything a float not only with the medical bills but with everyday life back on the farm.

We want to do our part in being a helping hand to the Barton family and are honored to donate 100% of the proceeds of these two lots to Garrett and his family.

So if you feel called to help spread the word and be a part of helping a stock show industry family out that’s in need, we would greatly appreciate it.
