Westlaw UK now offers Getting the Deal Through (GTDT) a comprehensive suite of multi-jurisdictional books where each book focuses on a specific practice area.

The titles, updated on an annual cycle, provide international guidance to regulations in 46 practice areas and more than 150 jurisdictions.

The GTDT series is primarily aimed at international legal practitioners who are looking to analyse overseas jurisdictions and optimise the value of commercial deals abroad.

On Westlaw UK, GTDT has its own dedicated interface which allows different navigation features and search functionalities across Practice Areas and Jurisdictions.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Within each title, you are provided with a consistent set of questions for all jurisdictions. This offers a succinct and clear comparative view of cross-jurisdictional practices identifying the key issues that a practitioner faces.

SEARCH & BROWSE From the GTDT home page, you can perform a free text search across all the titles in the GTDT series or browse through the list of available titles by Practice Area or Jurisdiction all the way down to Document display level.

You can also choose to browse GTDT by Practice Area or Jurisdiction.

If you select to browse by Practice Area you will only be shown the Jurisdiction where your chosen Practice Area is applied, reducing browsing time. The same applies to when browsing by Jurisdiction.

After selecting your continent and country, you will be presented with all Practice Areas applicable to that country.
