My name is Swati and I live in Little Chalfont with my husband and two beautiful children. I’m a business coach & consultant and also the owner of Nushka London, a women’s clothing business.
thought that lead to the creation of this catalogue. The ‘Shop Local Christmas Catalogue 2020’ features over 70 local businesses that offer a fascinating range of products and services.
In January 2020, I started the Amersham & Chalfonts Business Networking Group on Facebook primarily to connect and network with local businesses. Pre-Covid some of us would meet once a month to bounce business ideas and discuss how we could support each other. We had lots of exciting plans for our respective businesses and many of us thought 2020 could be our best year yet.
It’s been an absolute pleasure to be associated with these remarkable businesses to put this catalogue together. I’m truly fascinated with the enormous talent and diversity we have within our community.
And then Covid happened and BOOM everything changed! The fact that the last few months have been challenging for most businesses is an understatement. As we continue to make sense of this new normal, with the definition of ‘normal’ changing everyday, there is little clarity on what the future has in store. What we do know is that there is strength in unity. If we collaborate for a common cause we can give a much needed boost to local businesses and strengthen our incredible community. This was the
