Swans International School
Swans provides a broad curriculum in Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11), in which all courses lead to a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or IGCSE (International GCSE). These are external examinations that are completed at the end of Year 11 and their results define your future education and career path.
All students study the compulsory subjects, which are: English, Mathematics, one Science subject (Biology, Chemistry or Physics), Spanish and Information Communication Technology (ICT) or Computer Science.
You then have a choice about the other subjects that you can study. The details are set out on the following pages together with some advice about how to make your decisions. The rest of the booklet gives you information about the courses, both compulsory and optional.
