EVENTS & ATTRACTIONS Christmas Parade & Light Switch On 15 November From 12 noon a Christmas sleigh full of fabulous events and activities will be available through out the City Centre to mark the official start of the festive season. Later join us from 5pm to watch the procession of decorated floats parade through the City Centre and see our dazzling lights as they are switched on by Father Christmas. Sleeping Beauty 16 December - 17 January 2010 Swansea Grand Theatre This season’s spectacular promises to be glitzy, glamorouss and more ‘Grand’ than ever with a star studded cast including ‘Emmerdale’ actress and ‘I’m Here’’ A Celebrity Get Me Out off Here’ favourite Malandra Burrows and Andrew Agnew, known to thousands of children and parents as the loveable PC Plum from ‘Balamory’. 15 November – 3 January 2010 Starry skies, mince pies, ice skating and festive fun – you know Christmas is on its way when Waterfront Winterland opens its gates for another year. Join in the festivities from 15 November when the grounds of the National Waterfront Museum are transformed into the magical Christmas attraction. With real ice skating, the Admiral Giant Wheel, family funfair, festive food, Santa’s Grotto and live entertainment, Waterfront Winterland promises to once again thrill the crowds. The Admiral Rink is back and it’s got company! Brand new for 2009 is Rocky’s Rink - Wales’ only children’s ice rink and 8

GETTING HERE Bus & Coach Services As the bus station undergoes a radical facelift it’s business as usual for Swansea City Centre. All bus and coach services will be running from temporary bus stops and hopper services will also be operating a circular route. For the latest information on the new bus station, bus time-table and where to catch your bus visit www. swanseacitycentre.com/busstation.

Park Ride Over Christmas it’s so quick and easy to use Park Ride at Landore, Fforestfach and Fabian Way. It costs just £2.20 for all day parking and bus travel for up to 4 people and facilities will be open every Sunday from 15th November (until 20th December). Car Parking Shoppers will delight over the 8,580 car parking spaces and 25 car parks

either based within the City Centre or nearby. Council car parks are FREE every Sunday and for late night shopping and 2 hours FREE parking is also available at St David’s MultiStorey Car Park.
