The St Vincent de Paul Society acknowledges that many members of the community prefer to contribute to the lives of the disadvantaged by giving their time. Volunteers are important to the Society and all ages can get involved by taking calls at the Emergency Relief Call Centre, becoming a Vinnies Youth volunteer, volunteering in the Vinnies Retail Centres or the Clothing and Furniture Depot, volunteering with cooking and other recreational activities for the Special Work - Vincentcare or getting involved with the work of the Refugee and Migrant Committee.

Become a Member The Society is always looking for new members to join our conferences that help offer hope, comfort and dignity to the lives of those who lack the resources to lead a healthy and full life. Conference members deliver the core work of the Society by assisting people in their homes through Home Visitation. Members provide assistance with food, material aid, budget advice, utility bills, advocacy issues and friendship and support. To find out more about how you can help the St Vincent de Paul Society please call (08) 9475 5400.

“The sense of knowing your contribution, no matter how big or small, gives someone else a better chance at a better life – I wouldn’t trade that for anything in the world”. Youth Volunteer, St Vincent de Paul Society
