Vaikundarajan Shocked As Jayalalitha Convicted By The Court For Disproportionate Assets

AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha has been found guilty in the disproportionate assets case by a special Court that was set up to look into this matter shares Vaikundarajan.

The charges against Jayaram Jayalalitha date back almost two decades. Prosecutors said Jayalalitha's assets- a fortune of about 660 million rupees far exceeded her known earnings during her first term in office as chief minister of Tamil Nadu, from 1991 to 1996. People have not been able to take this news and they are in an extreme state of grief. At least 16 people committed suicide or died of cardiac arrest across Tamil Nadu and two people have been hospitalized with severe burns after this news came in shares Vaikundarajan.

Social welfare board chairperson and AIADMK women's wing deputy secretary C R Saraswathi said the reactions of grief "shows the relationship people share" with Jayalalitha. "Everyone in the state sees Amma as their mother," she said. Vaikundarajan feels that Jayalalitha is someone who is extremely popular among the crowds and people regard very highly of her. However, they should not take such steps and put their life into danger feels Vaikundarajan.
