Welcome to Thanet Well Looking to get away from it all, take it easy or enjoy the best nature has to offer? Thanet Well is a must, located on the edge of the Greystoke Forest with breathtaking views across open moorland towards Carrick Fell, Blencathra and Bowscale Fell.

The surrounding countryside offers some of the finest walking, fell running and cycling in the UK. From the high summits to forest trails and lakeside paths, there are walking routes suitable for everyone! Thanet Well is the perfect base to explore Cumbria and the world famous Lake District is within easy reach too.

The park is nestled amongst 14 acres of mature trees and is carefully laid out with caravan holiday homes and luxury lodges all enjoying their own landscaped area and parking and stunning views of the surrounding rolling hills.

Thanet Well facilities include a shop with all the essentials, a fun adventure playground where the little ones can burn off any excess energy and enjoy their own little adventures. Should you need to stay connected there are Wi-Fi options available.

Looking for an adventure?

Ullswater offers endless opportunities for water sports, whilst the Lakeland fells offer some fabulous walking and scrambling, the mountain biking is excellent too! You could even take to the skies in a hang glider, if mountaineering, climbing, canoeing and sailing take your fancy you couldn’t be anywhere better. The local area is great to try new outdoor activities or to extend your existing skills.
