Aim: Urban design toolkit for Olympics legacy

The MASTERPLAN

Promenade: An experience along the river edge through activated spaces and connected green nodes.

River lawn: Pocket lawns along the river edge acts as recess nodes and information areas

The Northshore bridge: A pedestrian bridge connecting the North (Athlete Village) and the South (Cannon Hill)

Macarthur Ave plaza: Gateway to the promenade

Rainforest pocket: A revitalized green forest providing

Macarthur Ave Market Square: Pop-up markets highlighting local creative industries, reflecting the area's history and culture

Northshore River park annex: Extending the park to an edible landscape.

Social Square: Social space for residents

Riverside viewpoint: Extended platforms providing more space to pause and relax by the river Fishing points: Integrated recess nodes

Picnic boating: A new form of public recreation connecting breakfast creek to Golf Course

Mangrove memorial loop: Includes recessed nodes with historical and ecological information, linking the golf course and Athlete Village.

Macarthur Ave Pop up: Encouraging new Street Food culture bringing people from around the city

Activated Green Artscape: A new street side green public art installation strip engaging people

Integrated Playscapes: An accessible playscape consisting earth and water features for all abilities and ages

Community activities

The Mangrove Cultural Trail linking the Royal Golf course and the Athlete Village Annex will be vital during the Olympics. Besides serving as a pedestrian pathway, it will also accommodate golf cart traffic, enhancing connectivity between key areas.

Social Housing Project for BHC

Unit layouts

Objective of the project: In response to the affordable housing crisis in Australia, this project focuses on designing inclusive and affordable apartments that feature 94 units, including a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom layouts. The design incorporates First Nations elements of connection to country as a tribute to Billy Barlow, while also integrating community and commercial spaces on the ground floor, basement parking, and sustainable features aimed at mitigating flooding.

WFH FACILITY – Works as a buffer space between Public and private zones

Objective of the project : Named after Gaia, symbolizing Mother Earth, this project strives to create a safe haven for vulnerable women and children. Our goal was to design a co-housing project for Housing Older Women (HOWSS) in Logan Central, revitalizing the potential of an overlooked city and building a supportive community.
