Batiquitos Lagoon, meaning “little watering hole” provides a wealth of opportunities for the community and communities at large. Fred Sandquist, President of the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation, shared why the lagoon is noted as a North County treasure and how visitors and those interested in volunteering time and/or funding can help in preserving, enhancing and protecting the Lagoon.
