BOOST Your Skills for Fall!

2022 3

COVID has challenged everyone—especially students. Landmark’s Summer Programs will help your child get back on track and improve their reading, writing, executive function, and organizational skills—all in a relaxed, supportive coastal setting. Our students are bright and motivated to learn, have dyslexia or another language-based learning disability (specific learning disability-SLD), average to above-average intelligence, and are well-adjusted socially. We uphold the strictest health-and-safety standards, classes are small, and every student receives a daily one-to-one tutorial. Instruction is extremely individualized and highly effective. Students leave feeling reenergized, more confident, and ready for the next school year.

We promise you’ll have fun! Learn more at landmarkschool.org/summer 4

A Priceless Summer Experience “ I have dyslexia. I felt like I was all alone with this problem and became very frustrated with the fact that I couldn’t learn the same way as other people. I knew I was smart but wondered if anyone would notice. At Landmark, I found out how I must learn. If I didn’t understand it one way, they explained it in several other ways. I found out my best way of learning was visual. I had to see it and sometimes experience it. Everything started to make sense to me. When I came back to school, I knew I could do anything if I worked hard enough. In my competitive high school, I have a B average and a decent ranking in my class. I feel I have accomplished a lot and know I can do more. My life seems like a mountain. The climb so far has been steep, but now I am ready for the next challenge…college.” —Melissa, Summer Program student 2022 SUMMER TUITION High School Half-Day Program....................................................................$5,920 High School Full-Day Program With Afternoon Activity......................$7,140 High School Residential Program.............................................................. $9,500 Elementary•Middle School Half-Day Program....................................... $5,510 8

Testimonials

from our parents...

“Seven days—that is what it took for Haley to have his ‘ah-ha’ moment with regard to his dyslexia and learning style. He now has the confidence, strength, and desire to do what he has always wanted to do when needing to write. Haley does not understand how you did it, but you did.” —Kari Bucholz “Maddie had the best summer of her life! We told her how proud we were of her, and for the first time ever she said, ‘I’m proud of myself.’ ” —Kimberly Brasser “This summer was life-changing for our child and our family. To quote my husband, ‘They knocked it out of the park.’ Landmark staff quickly picked up on my son’s deficits and offered creative and clever ways to address his needs.” —Phyllis Rouse “Thank you so much for this summer! I already see such a change in my son, who always viewed himself as ‘stupid.’ He is now asking when he should start looking at colleges. My favorite memory will be picking him up after school and seeing him standing outside reading a book.” —Anonymous
