How? Now Alexa comes in the celebrity voice of Amitabh Bachchan. It is the first of its kind in India by Amazon and seems to be a great marketing initiative from this multinational technology company.

The tech giant has launched Alexa in celebrity voice for the first time in 2019; Alexa then adopted the voice of Samuel L. Jackson. Amazon has kept the price very competitive at just INR149 for the first year and INR299, thereafter.

The easiest way to switch your Echo device to Amitabh Bachchan’s voice is just by asking Alexa, Introduce me to Amitji.” The feature has been also enabled on the shopping app, Amazon.in.

The tech giant has also disclosed that they have put in curated content based on Amitabh Bachchan’s choice in the device. It will include stories from the life of the superstar, a selected list of poems written by his father (and recited by him).

Users will also be able to set alarms, select their favorite music and even get weather updates in the Amitabh Bachchan signature voice. If you want to know more about what is available in Amitabh Bachchan’s voice, you just need to say, ’Amitji, what can you do?’
