Introductions Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences (SSBS) was established by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) in 2011 under the Faculty of Medical Health Sciences (FoMHS) to address the need for a school devoted to imparting training in Life Science research. The school has a strong research foundation with an excellent publication profile and numerous research grants awarded by the public and private funding agencies.
The focus areas of research are contemporary and well aligned with the National guidelines. Research activities are empowered by excellent laboratory infrastructure and highly experienced faculty members. Along with the master’s programs, the school also offers doctoral programs in Biotechnology and other areas of Life Science.
