1. The first step of document attestation includes authentication of documents from respective departments of state issuing the certificate i.e. the educational documents will be authenticated by the Human Resource Department (HRD), personal documents will be validated by the State Home department, and commercial documents will be validated by the Chamber of Commerce.
2. After their authentication from above mentioned departments the documents will be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), which holds the authority to attest documents of general public. MEA attestation will be done of the basis of authentication done by previous departments.
