A simple reminder of what to do in the first three minutes of an emergency!

RESPOND DO SOMETHING! Students need guidance in a crisis. Take control of the situation Stay calm and SAFE

RAIN

ASSESS Asses the offender’s Emotional state, actions and weapons. Assess the victim’s medical needs. Is this a safe location?

ISOLATE Isolate offenders from victims. Make eye contact and personal reference (Name, etc.). If necessary evacuate potential victims from the area.

NOTIFY Assign someone to go for help, Call for help using any method available. Ensure the police are notified.
