It all started in 2005… when three good friends from Manitoba shared a common dream of owning their own business. They owned cottages at Sunset Beach and they all loved to entertain. It was only natural that they would form a food company that would combine great food with great friends – Sunset Gourmet.

Be it Sunday dinner with the family or a cocktail party for friends, Sunset Gourmet products will provide you with a simple way to add a gourmet touch.

Recipe Whole Wheat, Oat & Honey Crepes • 1 Cup Whole Wheat, Oat & Honey Flapjack and Waffle Mix • 1 1/ 3 Cup of water • Whipped Topping & Strawberries (or other fresh fruit) Whisk together water and Flapjack Mix. Heat a lightly oiled fry pan or crepe pan over medium high heat. Pour ¼ cup batter into the fry pan, tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly. Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes until the bottom is light brown, loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Serve warm with whipped topping and fresh fruit, drizzle with warm Gourmet Caramel Toffee Sauce.

What I love about hosting a Sunset Gourmet party is that my friends can't wait to be invited.
