Director (10 to 39 Agents) 1

Seat, 3 year term

Monica Kirkeide

Number of Years you have been a Realtor: 12 yrs.

Biographical Data (education, Family): I'm proud to say I've been happily married to Kris for 22 wonderful years, and together, we're raising a lively crew of five incredible kids - Corina, Laura, Connor, Liza, and Jackson. Our family dynamic is enriched by the presence of our two lovable dogs, Ozzy and Lola. At home, I've earned the unofficial title of 'family chaos coordinator,'

adept at juggling the many joys and challenges of family life.

Professionally, I've been dedicated to the real estate industry for over a decade, with 12 years of experience under my belt. As co-owner of Realty One Group Encore, a business we've proudly nurtured for three years, I'm committed to delivering top-notch real estate services to our community. I bring the same passion and energy to both my family and my career, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

These include being a member of the Bylaws, Nominating, Ad Campaign Advisory Group, Program, and ProStandards committees, where I contribute to shaping and upholding the standards and regulations that govern our industry. State Association Involvement:

As a member of the State Association of Realtors, I am proud to contribute my expertise and insights to two essential committees: the Communications Committee and the Professional Development Committee. In my role on the Communications Committee.

National Association Involvement:

I respect the organization and the valuable resources it provides to real estate professionals, but I have chosen not to become actively involved. My career and personal commitments have kept me quite occupied, and I haven't had the opportunity to explore NAR involvement fully. However, I do acknowledge the benefits of NAR and the work it does for the real estate industry.

Realtor Event Attendance Record:

I genuinely value the opportunities and connections that Realtor events offer, and I understand the importance of active participation. However, there have been several factors affecting my attendance. My work schedule and commitments often require a significant amount of my time, which can make it challenging to attend events regularly. Additionally, personal responsibilities and family commitments sometimes take precedence. I do, however, recognize the benefits of attending these events and plan to make a more concerted effort to participate.

Other community involvement, leadership roles held:

My primary focus in community involvement has revolved around my children's passions for sports and the arts. Over the past few years, I've dedicated a significant portion of my time to supporting and nurturing their interests in these areas. I believe it's essential to encourage and foster their talents and abilities. Why are you running for this position?

I am running because of my unwavering commitment to the real estate industry. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to this profession and have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact it can have on individuals and communities alike. I believe that by serving on the Board of Directors, I can contribute significantly to the betterment of our local real estate community.
