PHOTO TALK
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2026 7:00 PM SPEAKERS HALL
Join us for a discussion of fine art photography with Craig Toms, president of the Coachella Valley Desert Photography Club Craig will discuss the thought and technique behind many of his awardwinning photographs
Regarding his technique, Craig explains, "After I've assessed their technical quality, I think about which of my images actually say something, something beyond 'here it is' and 'I was there.' I look for magic and mystery, and an image that makes the ordinary extraordinary, or an extraordinary subject discovered and revealed."
