Part-Time Academy (Grades 7-12)

Summit Christian Academy offers the opportunity for parents to choose classes/experiences that best fulfill the educational needs of their 7th-12th grade students, based on a case-by-case basis and if space is available.

Enrollment

To determine eligibility for classes/activities, parents should complete online enrollment paperwork (available at summit-christianacademy.org under Admissions).

All families engaging with SCA must have a pastor’s reference and go through the interview process. Students attending academic classes may be required to take entry exams to ensure ability level.

Jr. High

• Student must be enrolled in two on-campus classes.

• Athletics: Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Cross Country, Basketball, Wrestling, Track & Field, Baseball

Sr. High

• Student must be enrolled in two on-campus classes. For second semester freshmen and higher, MSHSAA academic requirements must have been met for the previous semester. All courses will be added to the SCA transcript.

• For those students homeschooling, all past and future homeschool courses must be approved through administration. Preapproved courses are listed in the Course Description Catalog.

• Including SCA courses, students must be in a minimum of seven total courses.

Summit Christian Academy is the school of choice for Christian families whose priority is excellence.

2025-26 Class Fees

Junior/Senior High

Curriculum fee for grades 7-8 is $60 per class. Curriculum fee for grades 9-12 is $70 per class. Five or more classes equal full tuition and curriculum fee.

Dual credit classes include an additional fee paid directly to the university.

All class fees include a welcome to attend SCA chapels. All classes are subject to availability. Priority enrollment is given to full-time students.

Achievement Testing

Achievement testing is available for grades 7-11. SCA currently uses the Pre-ACT for 7-9, the ACT and then PSAT for 10-11. These are administered in April, except the PSAT which is administered in October. The fee of $50 per student includes testing and a finalized report in June.

SCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and Cognia.

Affiliations include Association of Christian Schools International, Great Plains Alliance of Christian Schools, and Missouri State High School Activities Association.
