Catford Commune

Catford 2024

Guided by Sean Grifths, this project reimagined Catford, South London, as an ecosocialist city, designing solutions for basic human needs. My focus was an educational institution based on eco-socialist principles. In essence it was about community-driven, collective, and hands-on learning without age barriers. The design repurposed abandoned warehouses and dilapidated houses, transforming them into interconnected educational zones for the city.

The plan features quadrants inspired by the Oxford college layout, each with a distinct structural identity shaped by experimental objects. It includes an educational collective, a sports collective, an artists' collective, and residential spaces, each with its own dening characteristic.

Mindscape - A space for the unstable mind

Research and Thesis Project 2023

This multi functional institute was designed in response to my bachelor's thesis research on neurodivergent children. It focuses on creating spaces for education, therapy, treatment, and outdoor play for children with mental disabilities and neurodivergence. Each space, including the interiors, was thoughtfully designed in collaboration with research on their needs.

As part of my bachelor's project, the nance center was designed for a business district in Mumbai, housing international nance companies. The structure, made of glass and concrete, aimed to establish a distinct identity while complementing the district's architectural landscape.

Hybrid Housing

Design Project 2020

This project addresses the challenge of providing housing for people across various affordability levels. It features four distinct types of housing, including high-rise ats and duplex bungalows. The oor plans vary in size from 35 sqm to 90 sqm, catering to diverse needs and lifestyles.

Khar Bazaar

Design Project 2021

This project serves as an academic extension of the government-issued redesign competition for Khar Market in Mumbai. It envisions a vibrant, high-density urban space with a carefully planned layout of clustered buildings. The design integrates diverse market spaces, fostering a dynamic commercial hub while optimizing land use.
