October Issue aperson? aperson aperson?
The conscious being and our level of awareness are a part of a person. Things we mindlessly do, such as walking and maintaining our previous being/presence. What does a previous being/presence entail?
Well, it is to have experience making up our instincts. Instincts include our sudden understanding to walk, initial ideas we have and opinions towards certain groups pf people and more. Even thinking about traumas determining these things and ones sudden reactions given a situation. “Tabula Rasa,” the ideology of having a blank slate backs this concept up. How we can determine our soul and instincts over time are products of this ideology. We are the ones to determine how we end up in the future, yet only with external experiences, people and judgments developed from this blank slate.

&JURISPRUDENCE
Disciplines and punishments can cause innate fear as the coming of the soul into the body seems to be like a prison. It (disciplines of the law) is seen as an experience, not some kind of rehabilitation but works to create fears due to the soul being a blank slate.
The first thought led me to analyze Plato’s thoughts further where he sees the coming of the soul into the body to be a prison.
This brought me to: How punishment and discipline evolved. People began targeting the inner (the soul) to cause greater impacts and innate fear. The soul was seen as an easy target as it developed from a blank slate.

A person is made from dualism! The mixture of both the physical and non-physical components. Neither being the forefront of my argument but rather, they are a mixture of the two!
Dualism woah!

What Is A Self?
...of what makes up our identity (internal and external factors)
We all have things within us that We all have things within us that combine to create who we are. combine to create who we are. A melting pot. From our physical A melting pot. From our physical genes, to that of our mental pre- genes, to that of our mental predetermined ones. As time goes determined ones. As time goes on, and change occurs, we see on, and change occurs, we see this formulated combination to this formulated combination to be susceptible to changes as be susceptible to changes as well as open to them. We, in a well as open to them. We, in a way, have no choice but to be way, have no choice but to be open to changes. This makes a open to changes. This makes a i l d ique “self.”. i l d ique “self.”.

The Unexamined Life
Thinking about the unexamined life... SOCRATES’ ideology brings up a need to live an unexamined life to set goals and a select destination in one ' s conscious lifestyle. His thoughts on why people should examine their life ties into their well-being and sense of happiness over time how we can see another ingredient in this melting pot being added as we progress as a self.
HISMELTING POT
and COMES WITHCHANGE
Living an Unexamined Life was seen as a great way to have individual goals no matter how insignificant they may seem. This allows for a self to differ from that of AI thought process ’ or robots who are given select programs. These programs and predetermined codes are not set for further contexts and plan to the extent of a self. They are not specific to them as a growing being and how a self can process future desires. Using The Unexamined Life as a source, it puts into perspective Socrates' thoughts on how significant it is to live a life that you ’ ve developed to be useful to you. Specifically in a future context. These motivations and goals that a self can develop are what make up a self.
THE Themed CROSS WORD puzzle! Are the mind and body the same thing or are they separate and distinct? http://www.whenwecrosswords.com/crossword/sedwed/1120471/crossword.jsp
The mind and body can communicate with one another given a situation, yet are still their own structures.
Soul-body relations that come from Aristotle’s ideology start with what he defined to be the mind. The mind (or any intellect or reasondriven thought) was described as the part of the soul by which it knows and understands (processes information). They influence one another (mind and soul) and thus branch out into sustaining the body. The mind can sustain itself without influence from the body, while the body relies on the soul/mind and is more dependent as it uses the mind/soul to guide it.

Can a soul exist after the body has died?
Through the aspect of the self, if we look at Buddhist ideologies when looking at CONTINUITY, the Buddhist point of view is that the self, like all things, is impermanent while there is an underlying consciousness that lingers after death.
ghost kitty
Rejecting most means of permanent beings in this world/reality. With no notion of a permanent self, the same goes for metaphysical ideologies. It is once again impermanent.
The whole idea of there being no permanence in self comes from ANATTA, ALSO KNOWN AS NON-SELF OR SUBSTANCELESS…
The overall doctrine is that there is no human permanence. When relaying this to the soul,, we only can be molded into the self by our day-to-day actions and selfproclaimed thoughts that can be based on our actions
We create our substance, we are not made of the predetermined substance/logical matter – meaning without our physically developed state, the Buddhist perspective is that without developing the soul using the current physical state, it is impermanent (can’t go beyond your physical form)
So,Can So,Can ghost ghost kitties kitties exist?! exist?!
No, according to Buddhism
Yes, according to Sikhi!

Is a person separate from, or a part of, their environment?
“Managerial Autonomy”, in other words, Managed Freedom!
It seems as though environmental factors, no matter what, constrain the structure, behaviours or lifestyles (in regards to a person) overtime for that of an environmental variable (those who may live in the environment) such as humans.
With the backing of Managerial Autonomy, this freedom of how much the environment around us can affect us depends on our individualistic lifestyles and how much we desire its influence (in the context of a Westernized way of living). Choice and freedoms as such are seen to be more practical in our ways of living, not having to rely on the outside world to survive. Thus, there’s a sense of freedom and control an individual holds as to how much they allow their environment to dictate their living and them as a person. While their internal environment is also a dictator as they are a variable of it. So, people still have control over the amount their environment plays a role in their lives, just not in a way where there is an absolute answer.
The pumpkin BECOMES A
JACK-O-LANTERN WHEN THE ENVIRONMENT CALLS FOR IT (HALLOWEEN)
With my understanding from the prior questions about being a blank slate (Tabula Rasa), this applies to the physical aspects of a person and how we adapt from this initial state, lacking intuition and opinion. One big picture we must take into account is also our genes, that are not reliant on our environment at all. They have been passed down from a multitude of generations and centuries, which is why a person is not COMPLETELY APART OF THEIR ENVIRONMENT NOR COMPLETELY SEPARATE.
Rather, their being indulges in the influence of their surroundings and environment to establish things that get carried into genes for the later generations
Considering Emotions...
ANIMAL: There is a greater learning potential and understanding animals gain, and have, when imitating their environment (if around people such as those in captivity or pets) where NEEDS & WANTS both play a role. Yet, there is a more pure instinct based response without humans being added to their environment. Again, a gene plays a role in what they pursue and do in the wild (again instinct based). Yet animals are more likely to develop person-like features, having both, needs and wants, play a roll. Similar to that of people, yet again
MACHINE: No matter the use of human-like imitations and gateways for updates and overall progress of information and utility, they still cannot be person!
Machines lack intention when carrying out a task and need to progress with it. They receive inputs and they can generate some form of output, but they lack the initial desires of a task, they simply carry out a need. Relative to NEEDS VS. WANTS – they can never carry desire when going to do a task, it is usually completely pre-determined and thought out.
ANIMALS CANNOT BE PERSONS (smaller scale with more adapting components and lack of reliance on external parties) & MACHINES CANNOT BE PERSONS TO A GREATER DEGREE!
