“By adhering to international management system requirements in our products, services, and operations, and through continuous improvement and innovation, we aim to exceed the expectations of our customers and stakeholders and lead the industry.”

MERA ShockStar SURFACE INITIATION SYSTEM

The ShockStar SURFACE connectors are used for transmitting shock to other equipment and adjusting the delay between blastholes. The connector block can be used in two ways:

• During normal operations, it is used in an unlocked position.

• For high-risk connections or work in challenging conditions, the locking mechanism can be used.

• The connector has a connection block that accommodates 8 Nonel tubes. Since the connectors contain minimal primary charge, they have reduced noise levels and simplified cutting operations. The SHOCKSTAR SURFACE tool can be used to initiate blasting.

• The SHOCKSTAR SURFACE connectors do not initiate the detonation cord.

ADVANTAGES

• The tube can be easily connected. When necessary, the locking mechanism is used to secure the tube in the block. It can connect 8 tubes simultaneously.

• The delay time for the detonator is distinguished by the color of the connector head.

• The delay time is highly accurate, with a detonation probability exceeding 99% following the calculated sequence for Nonel equipment.

• The primary charge has a protective cover.

CHARACTERISTICS

• It is manufactured with a red tube, making it easy to distinguish from blast-hole detonators.

It offers 9 different delay times: (0 ms, 9 ms, 17 ms, 25 ms, 33 ms, 42 ms, 67 ms, 100 ms, 200 ms).

Nonel Detonator

Designed specifically for the initiation of other shock tube detonators and to introduce a delay between holes

Detonators combine inhole delay detonators and surface connectors in one product.

Designed to be used as down-hole detonators for the initiation of cast boosters and high explosives.

This relay, equipped with a detonator in its two blocks connected by a non-electric tube, is used in blast circuits that utilize detonating cords in gas and dust safe open-pit and underground mines.

Designed to be used as in-hole detonators for the initiation of cast boosters and high explosives.

Designed for the initiation of a blast or for connecting one blast to another.

Used in blast circuits of open-pit and underground mines to bundle different types of blasting materials in one package using detonating cords, ensuring safe and reliable initiation with millisecond delays.

Explosive Material Manufacturing

REDUCTION IN WEAR AND TEAR

REDUCTION IN TRAVEL TIME

INCREASE IN PRODUCTIVITY

Blast Hole Charging service

Using Mobile manufacturing units, pre-manufactured chemical mixtures are pumped into blast holes in technological proportions, becoming ready explosives after a certain time. These vehicles enable safe, fast, efficient, and productive blasting services. We support mines in Tavan Tolgoi and Nariin Sukhait deposits with a fleet of high-performance vehicles, charging blast holes with bulk and emulsion explosives.

Stemming service

We use blast hole stemming trucks to enhance the safety, productivity, and efficiency of blasting operations. Stemming the blast holes is one of the critical tasks in drilling and blasting, aimed at effectively utilizing the energy of the explosives in the rock to be blasted. Since 2011, we have been using engineering calculations to create stemming trucks with a capacity of 4-5 cubic meters and hydraulic aggregates, installing 2 to 3 bunkers on one truck. These reliable stemming trucks can stem the right and left holes with 16 tons of stemming material in one trip within 15 minutes. By fully controlling the stemming truck from the driver’s cab, we reduce the exposure of workers to mine dust and weather conditions, improve safety, and accurately measure and apply the stemming material, resulting in faster stemming operations, reduced explosive consumption, lower unit costs, and increased productivity.

BLASTING SERVICES

Since 2006, MERA Group has been providing blasting services to its clients. We perform blasting services tailored to the specifics of the mine, combining the latest advanced technology, equipment, and software widely used internationally in the blasting industry with precise engineering calculations. We use “Liner” bags to pump water from blast-holes and “Gas bag” air spacers to reduce blasting costs, improve blasting quality and efficiency, and measure vibration and average fragmentation to determine the results of blasting operations. Additionally, we provide our clients with timely and accurate information about blasting services and continuously improve our services.
