Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa Boutique Barefoot Luxury

Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa

f you’re seeking a classy, comfortable and cosmopolitan boutique stay in Palm Beach County, Florida, then you’ll be over the moon at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa. I know I was! From the rich antique-filled lobby to my sumptuous suite overlooking an impossibly aqua sea, to the beachfront mangrovelined pool area with a waterfall whirlpool, everything is designed for laid-back barefoot luxury. And the spa? Over-the-top pampering combined with the delicious addition of offering endless hot liquid chocolate in the waiting room. My massage therapist had a hard time getting me out of there for my treatment! I mean, who can get enough of hot liquid chocolate? Dining on site is also first rate. Enjoy casual fare and a pubby atmosphere in the bar/game room with a pool table, perfect for easygoing socialising. And poolside, their beach bar and seaside patio sates sun worshippers. There’s also an inviting outdoor fire pit lounge to enjoy seaside evenings. But their culinary jewel is signature dining room Sinclair’s Ocean Grill. It’s a chic and classy enclave offering gourmet

twists on fresh catch-of-the-day, meats seared to perfection, and an extensive wine list. This is Jupiter’s only oceanfront restaurant, and it’s as popular with locals as it is with guests. Other amenities include a fitness facility, tennis courts, and of course, the beach! The hotel is ideally situated on the area’s longest stretch of secluded sand, which is also a favoured spot for sea turtle nesting. The resort is also a proud sponsor of sea turtle preservation programs. Off property, there’s also plenty to do close by, like snorkeling with manatees in the wild, kayaking the mangroves, and touring the waterways. We particularly enjoyed the Pontiki Bamboo Party Barge – a palmthatched tiki boat. Sail past ritzy Jupiter Island to sneak a peek at the mansions of the rich and famous like Celine Dion and Tiger Woods. World class golf courses are also nearby. And for fun and funky nightlife, head to the Square Grouper – the legendary party landmark where Jimmy Buffet and Alan Jackson filmed the “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” video.Visit: SUSAN CAMPBELL
