Island Report News, events, and happenings around Curaçao... Curaçao attracts Google
Curaçao is excited to be the first Caribbean destination to be independently mapped for Google Street View. The project was spearheaded by radio station Dolfijn FM, the minister of Economic Development, CTB, and CHATA. To show Google why Curaçao deserved to be “on the map” they developed a fun video, and it worked! Google’s interest was sparked and the project was set in motion. The new street view option should be online in early 2018, and local businesses also now get free listings on Google maps. www.curacaoonthemap.com The Curaçao Liqueur experience
