“My art wanders between the then and the now, seeking unification through the continuity of the image and stops to focus on detail. It represents a subjective reality of society, of human behavior and its environment; a reality that is subject to consciousness. And this emotion materializes through the plane and the volume, the magazine paper and the stoneware. I am inspired by the beauty of the material: its color, texture and shape. Women inspire me as well as contrast and poetry. In this way, my works points the viewer towards new worlds, worlds that are not very distant because finally we are all part of them” www.ximenalama.com
