Highfield Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF)

We are delighted to have recently implemented a Highfield Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) Qualification with a leading health and social care provider.

The purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of Leadership and Management in adult care services. It will develop their awareness of leadership styles and how to lead teams effectively. It will also give learners the opportunity to develop management skills to help plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of quality person-centred care.

This qualification has been designed for learners who wish to gain an understanding of leadership within the context of working in health and social care environments. It has been developed to meet both current and future requirements within the sector, offering a solid foundation for progression into management roles in health or social care.

The new Highfield Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) has been designed to meet the requirements of the Care Quality Commission's National Minimum Standards for Adult Care Services.

The qualification is aimed at those working in a leadership or management role within an adult care setting. It is also suitable for those who are aspiring to move into a leadership or management role within adult care.

The Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) is intended to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to be able to plan, manage, monitor and evaluate their work effectively, including being able to: Manage resources effectively (including time management and delegation), Understand how to create effective relationships based on respect and trust,

Understand how attitudes and values affect an individual's role in adult care, Understand how to motivate others and describe the qualities of an effective leader, Understand their roles and responsibilities as a leader or manager within adult social care.
