“One hour of SkyRobics can help you burn up to 1000 calories per session. Studies have shown that bouncing may feel easier and more pleasurable than other forms of cardiovascular exercise. Other benefits include improved balance, core strengthening, enhanced coordination and better performance in sports that require multi directional movement. There is truly something for everyone at Sky Zone,” says Cohn, commenting that the facility will accommodate up to 130 guests at any given time. “We will also offer an online ticket purchase service through our website that will guarantee guests a spot to jump at their desired time. This will avoid the disappointment of showing up and having to wait for an open trampoline.”

Costs are well in line with other types of family entertainment, with a half-hour activity running around $10. Fifteen dollars gets you an hour on the courts and $20 will deliver an all you can bounce package that lasts an exhausting two hours. Getting kids to sleep at bedtime will never be easier. For those who just want to sit back and watch the action, Winnipeg’s new Sky Zone will also offer a parent lounge. According to Cohn, the lounge will provide free WiFi and daily newspapers. As well, guests can access a wide range of refreshments at the food and beverage area. “We will have many of the traditional treats that people have come to expect from concession stands, but we are taking good health into account as well,” he says, noting there will be a strong focus on fresh items for those who enjoy healthy eating.
