My work serves as a visual portal to the unparalleled. Igniting imagination and emotion is my goal when creating scenes, a visual language that resonates with individuality and wonder. Every illustration I create is a window into myself, unapologetically.

Being a character designer is a thrilling journey. I blend creativity and empathy to craft characters that resonate with audiences. It’s the opportunity to breathe life into a new world.
Aligning the narrative and target audience is what allows me to pay attention to every detail going into creating characters. Diverse representation and inclusivity is important to my goal, to seamlessly integrate my creations into the larger story.

Shown here is an example of applying multiplaning cameras in an animated still. The moon, forest, castle, and foreground are all moving independently to create a depth of field.
As we pull the forest closer and more into the frame, we draw the viewer's attention to the setting of the next scene.
Opening Scene for “1,000 Cuts” Animation (Work In Progress)
● 8-12fps
● Automated multiple opacities within layers while main animation is still active
● Camera dolly zoomed in for the eyes
● Added a glow layer to the eyes to soften the contrast
● 4-8 fps
● Lowered fps to create fast movements of twirling the sword in hand
● Automated fade to white
● Background repeats movement to emphasize the action
● 8-12fps
● Repeating background to display quick movement
● Slightly panned the character up (slowly) and down (quickly) to give more life into the action
● 12fps
● Created a layer and automated various opacities to create a slashing effect
● “Scratchy” effect on figure done by making 3-4 repeated cells
● Automated the figure to pan upwards

layers in animation add depth and atmosphere to scenes, enriching storytelling through visual context.
Background
Here we have the different layers from the first scene displayed. All have been created to work in junction with each other, while working independently into their role.
Creating several background layers allow opportunities for seamless, smooth multipaning.
