QUI L’ARTE TROVA RISTORO Il Caffè Centrale è più di un luogo di ristoro incastonato al centro della scena cittadina, è un crocevia di persone, idee (a volte rivoluzionarie e tragiche come il piano di assassinare Napoleone al suo passaggio in città) e soprattutto di cultura. Qui negli anni settanta si incontravano gli esponenti della corrente artistica Fluxus, coccolati dalle delizie del Caffè e pronti a rivoluzionare l’arte di quegli anni. I fratelli Botter sono i custodi di questo scrigno da ormai quarant’anni e mantengono viva la vocazione culturale e di punto d’incontro del locale. Perché cambiano le mode, cambiano le idee e le persone, ma il Caffè Centrale resta, pronto ad accogliere tutti.
ART FINDS RELIEF HERE Caffè Centrale is more than just a place for refreshments set in the center of the city. It is a crossroads of people, ideas (sometimes revolutionary and tragic, like the plan to assassinate Napoleon when he passed through Asolo) and above all, culture. In the seventies, the exponents of the Fluxus art movement would met here, spoiled by the delights of Caffè Centrale and ready to revolutionize art in these years. The Botter brothers have been the custodians of this treasure chest for the past forty years and still keep the cultural vocation and gathering point of the café alive. Fashion, people and ideas change, but Caffè Centrale endures, ready to welcome everyone.
